Must live in the East Market of the Northeast Region
The EHS Manager for the Easton facility and Service Operations East Market, working with the NE Region EHS SOPs Manager, will establish, execute, and deliver facility-specific EHS plans that support PepsiCo's overall EHS objectives.
Responsibilities
- Assemble, develop, and lead in the execution of Frito Lay EHS compliance across leadership and locations in the region's SOPs East Market and Easton, PA. Build EHS capability of SOPS teams by helping to Coach, develop and lead in the execution of Frito Lay EHS compliance at SOPS locations.
- Develop and lead implementation of programs/tools to ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local OSHA/EPA/DOT regulations and applicable company requirements (i.e., Working at Heights, Powered Industrial Truck, etc.)
- Provide technical and regulatory expertise in developing EHS continuous improvement processes and determining needed follow up activities associated with EHS incidents, agency inspections, and/or internal/external audits.
- Partner with Region EHS Manager, Region EHS SOPs Manager & Region Service Operations Leadership in the development of the EHS annual operating plans (AOP).
- Conduct periodic location visits to assigned location to ensure ongoing compliance with regulatory agency requirements, Frito-Lay EHS National procedures, and internal PepsiCo EHS procedures.
- Work together with the NE Region EHS Manager, other Regional Safety Mangers (RSM), Service Operations Sr. Director, Group Managers, Region Zone Operations Managers (ZOMs), Regional Fleet Manager, and Facility Operation Managers (FOMs) to reduce EHS risk across the Region.
- Participates in regularly scheduled venues with Region Leadership to provide KPI updates to include status updates, trend analysis, and any identified best management practices.
- Evaluate location-based risk assessments and assist in the implementation of effective physical and/ or behavioral control measures. Recognize and verify the effectiveness of in-place control.
- Participate in the development of leading and lagging Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) that deliver best in class EHS performance and demonstrate an elevated level of urgency around needed EHS paradigm culture shift change.
- Analyze key EHS data form audits and developing prevention plans to address process or risks gaps. Think strategically and ensure EHS Performance plans are timely, achievable, and performance based.
- Support in the execution of the National FLNA EHS Training Agenda.
- Assist in new site go-lives with the expectations of going to sites prior to reduce safety compliance outages prior to go-live.
- Participate in CAR or MOC processes if called upon.
- Manage the Easton EHS Coordinator.
Compensation and Benefits:
- The expected compensation range for this position is between $64,300 - $107,650.
- Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process.
- Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 8% of annual salary paid out annually.
- Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Environmental, Safety, Engineering, Manufacturing, or related technical discipline
- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in manufacturing/warehousing as an EHS professional
- Knowledge and experience with EHS Management systems and their deployment
- Experience in a food manufacturing environment preferred.
- Professional EHS certification preferred (CIH, CSP, CHMM, and / or PE).
- Displays strong problem solving, organizational and analytical skills.
- Strong communication skills, as well as excellent interpersonal and influence management skills.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred due to frequent interaction with Spanish-speaking employees.
- Travel up to 50-75% within the market (dependent on business needs and fluctuation).
