Join us in shaping the future of PepsiCo's Supply Chain transformation. As we deploy Blue Yonder's Warehouse Management System (WMS) across North America, we are seeking an executive to lead our platform engineering and DevSecOps strategy that enables our next-generation digital supply chain

Responsibilities

  • Platform strategy and operating model
    • Define the platform vision, roadmap, and operating model that enables business operations and delivery of projects at scale.
    • Establish governance across architecture, integration, data, security, and change management.
    • Manage relationship with Blue Yonder and drive financial operations: license management, and platform cost/performance KPIs.
  • Development services
    • Run technical estimation, risk assessments, and stage gates.
    • Convert functional specs into technical designs.
    • Build and maintain reusable components, connectors, and internal packages.
    • Maintain reference architectures and reusable patterns for Blue Yonder's WMS and adjacent services.
  • Platform management: configuration, code, and change control
    • Own code and configuration repos, branching strategies, and promotion policies for configuration and code.
    • Define and operate environment topology (dev, QA, UAT, perf, prod, etc.), provisioning, refreshes, and data masking/seeding.
    • Standardize CI/CD pipelines and quality gates (cutovers, rollbacks), operating change management with proper separation of duty controls and full traceability.
    • Enable and maintain platform security standards certificates, keys, etc.
    • Manage and remediate cybersecurity platform vulnerabilities.
    • Build and maintain release calendars and partner with deployment teams in aligning releases with business deliverables.
    • Define, manage and maintain cloud architecture to enable integration of Blue Yonder's SaaS platform with the rest of the PepsiCo ecosystem.
    • Work directly with Blue Yonder's support team to enable the platform and business solutions.
  • Quality, reliability, and observability
    • Establish automated testing (unit, integration, E2E, contract, performance, security, accessibility).
    • Define and maintain all testing assets (strategies, cases, scripts, etc.) related to the WMS.
    • Develop observability tools to enable business support.
  • Operations and service management
    • Lead L3 incident (bug and data fixing/code changes) and problem management.
    • Work with Blue Yonder support services to fix data issues, deploy hot fixes and fix product issues/bugs: Open, monitor and close requests, and influence product roadmap as necessary.
    • Build tools to enable business support.
    • Maintain runbooks for Disaster Recovery, backup/restore, and test/perform recovery processes.
    • Ensure platform uptime/SLA adherence.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • The expected compensation range for this position is between $125,900 - $249,900.
  • Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process.
  • Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 25% of annual salary paid out annually and an additional target payout of 10% of annual salary is paid out over 3 years following the end of the performance period.
  • Long term incentive equity may be awarded based on eligibility and performance.
    Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree in IT, Engineering, or a related field (Advanced degree preferred).

Experience:

    • 10+ years in enterprise platform engineering or related roles.
    • Proven leadership of Blue Yonder's WMS platform in complex environments, including deployments in SaaS environments.
    • SDLC, CI/CD, DevOps/DevSecOps, trunk-based or GitFlow, code/metadata versioning.
    • Environment strategy, sandbox/client management, data masking/seeding.
    • Quality engineering automation and performance testing.
    • Observability stacks (APM, logs, metrics, tracing) and SRE practices (SLOs/error budgets).
    • History of leading major programs with multiple stakeholders and numerous sites.

Leadership & Soft Skills

    • Proven leadership in guiding high-performing teams and fostering a culture of excellence.
    • Strong decision-making, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
    • Exceptional communicator capable of navigating complex challenges.
    • Strong Vendor Management skills.
