Overview

The Culinary Technician plays a key role in supporting kitchen operations by executing recipes developed by our mixologists and chefs with consistency, precision, and high quality. This role is responsible for overseeing daily kitchen activities, ensuring all procedures are followed in compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

  • Execute recipes developed by mixologists and chefs with precision, consistency, and quality
    Support daily kitchen operations, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and in alignment with project timelines
  • Maintain accurate records of kitchen operations, including inventory levels, recipe execution, and compliance with internal and external regulations
  • Implement and uphold food safety and hygiene practices to maintain a clean and safe working environment
  • Follow all established kitchen procedures, operational protocols, and regulatory guidelines
  • Collaborate with culinary and cross-functional teams to support sampling sessions, demos, and innovation showcases
  • Organize and maintain kitchen workspaces, equipment, and ingredient storage in an orderly and efficient manner
  • Monitor and restock supplies as needed, communicating any shortages or issues to the appropriate team members
  • Participate in occasional offsite culinary activations, as needed

Compensation and Benefits:

  • The expected compensation range for this position is between $65,300 - $101,850
  • Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process
  • Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement

Qualifications

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Culinary degree or certification from an accredited institution preferred

Experience:

  • 2-4 years of experience in a professional kitchen or foodservice environment
  • Experience working with standardized recipes and high-volume preparation
  • Familiarity with food safety regulations, sanitation standards, and kitchen best practices

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to follow precise culinary and mixology instructions
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality and consistency
  • Team player with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and adapt to evolving priorities
  • Basic knowledge of kitchen equipment, storage practices, and ingredient handling

Additional Requirements:

  • Flexibility to support occasional early mornings, evenings, or weekend events
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe and clean work environment
