When you join Frito-Lay (Business unit of PepsiCo) Accounting and Finance team in Plano Texas, you have the opportunity, after 18 months in the role, to be considered for advancement or rotation into another accounting or finance group. Responsibilities

The Control & Reporting Senior Supervisor is primarily responsible for the accurate set up and reporting of Fixed Assets for Frito Lay. This role supports Engineering, Field, Fleet, Contract Manufacturing, and Real Estate operations, to help provide guidance and troubleshoot accounting issues. The position will oversee all active fleet & IT related capital projects, as well as the project administrator that handles all fleet projects. In addition, this role will be a subject matter expert for the month-end close system process.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Perform account reconciliations
  • Prepare period close schedules
  • Assist with KPMG audit requests and SOX reporting
  • Serves as Fleet & IT lead for fixed assets, including management over the fixed assets cycle during period close
  • Perform ad hoc research for Manager
  • Collaborate with the tax team, engineers, and Fleet/IT on various issues
  • Ensure period close entries are recorded and financials are accurately stated
  • Assist with the improvement of new accounting ERP system
  • Ensure compliance with PepsiCo policies and GAAP regarding asset capitalizations

Compensation and Benefits:

  • The expected compensation range for this position is between $72,500 - $121,300 based on a full-time schedule.
  • Location, confirmed job-related skills and experience will be considered in setting actual starting salary.
  • Bonus based on performance and eligibility; target payout is 8% of annual salary paid out annually.
  • Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.

Qualifications

  • 3-4 years of Accounting experience
  • CPA (or minimum 3 parts passed)
  • SAP Experience
  • Superior analytical and problem solving capabilities
  • Superior communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced matrix organization.
  • Ability to adapt quickly & maintain flexibility with regard to ad-hoc projects, revisions to areas of responsibility and organizational change.
  • Manager experience a plus
  • Must have the indefinite right to work in the U.S.
