Objective of this role:

  • Improve PepsiCo social media and brand KPIs by developing high-quality social initiatives for target audiences.

Strategic Leadership

  • Lead the development of innovative, insight-driven social media strategies that align with brand priorities and audience behaviors.
  • Collaborate with brand and communications teams to shape content themes, pitch social-first ideas, and align messaging across platforms.
  • Develop creative briefs for social campaigns and evergreen content and manage the briefing process
  • Lead multi-market strategic social initiatives, ensuring proper buy-in and implementation by social media teams globally
  • Proactively stay on top of the latest social media trends, including cultural trends, platform evolutions and emerging technologies. Engage stakeholders to share how those trends can be applied to the brand.
  • Oversee proactive and reactive community engagement across organic and paid content, identifying opportunities for PepsiCo to enter conversations
  • Work with Global Media teams to oversee paid media budget in support of culture accelerator program
  • Drive the development of social media POVs, including major platform announcements or feature roll-outs, along with any impacts to the brand, to be shared out with internal teams.

Creative Partnership & Execution

  • Oversee collaboration with the internal creative studio to deliver best-in-class social content and editorial calendars, leveraging new content formats, platform capabilities, and storytelling devices
  • Manage campaign timelines, feedback loops, and cross-functional alignment to ensure seamless execution.

Content Governance

  • Own the social content approval process end-to-end, coordinating legal, brand, and cross-functional reviews to ensure compliance, brand safety, and timely publication.
  • Establish clear workflows to proactively manage risk while maintaining agility.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Mentor and support junior team members, offering guidance on platform best practices, strategy development, and creative evaluation.
  • Foster a collaborative, feedback-rich environment where curiosity and creativity thrive.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • The expected compensation range for this position is between $118,700 - $198,800.
  • Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process.
  • Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 15% of annual salary paid out annually.
  • Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in social media strategy, digital marketing, or brand communications (CPG or agency experience a plus).
  • Demonstrated ability to develop innovative, audience-centric content and community engagement strategies across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, X, YouTube)
  • Strong project and stakeholder management skills, with experience and success in driving complex campaigns from strategy through execution.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; able to translate strategy into clear, compelling narratives for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proven experience navigating cross-functional and legal reviews while maintaining speed and quality.
  • Comfortable managing both creative development and performance analysis.
