Commercial Insights & Strategy Manager
Overview
The Customer & Commercial Insights role is a critical member of the Global Network Design team, in providing visibility & clarity of the commercial objectives which our networks will be designed to solve for.
The main purpose of this role is to enable Network Design's Strategic Capabilities Establish & execute the framework to convert high-level aspirational commercial projections & current granular demand run-rates (unconstrained), infused with industry & PEP strategic insights, to systematically create the granular strategic commercial projections for Network Design. All markets & regions, all categories.
This role will engage multiple commercial stakeholders, broader S&T organization, and external insights, to create the +10 year growth aspiration detailed signal, incorporating unconstrained run-rates, business goals, customer & channel evolutions, and external insights.
The output of the role will enable the accelerated execution of the Network Design Stategic Capabilities team and broader Network Design E2E projects, spanning - Agronomy, Planning, Procurement, Manufacturing, Warehousing, Transportation, Go To Market, Customers, and broader operating Partners.
Responsibilities
- Establish & execute the Granular Aspirational Projection framework, converting high-level aspirational commercial projections & current granular demand run-rates (unconstrained), infused with industry & PEP strategic insights, to systematically create the granular strategic commercial projections for Network Design.
- Own the long-term strategic commercial visibility per market, granular in detail for the End-2-End Value Chain Network to be designed for.
- Define & execute the Commercial Insights Strategy, digital capabilities, advanced logic & configuration, playbooks, processes & forums, to standardize & scale how we maximize PepsiCo's service, efficiency & growth potential.
- Define the operating model to ensure alignment, concensus, risk mitigation, and guidance with key stakeholders
- Define key strategic insights to unlock & enables PepsiCo's Commercial to Value Chain growth, value & PEP+
- Collaborate with key teams, functions & forums to translate wholistic business & commercial strategies, & consumer insights into Network's Commercial Insights, such as (not limited to);
- Strategic collaboration with Commercial teams (Global/Sector/BU) to translate wholistic business & commercial strategies, & consumer insights into Network core inputs - detailed growth trajectories, sales channel needs, service unlocks, customer collaboration etc
- S&T functions to identify granular trends (e.g. Profit to Serve), future design considerations (e.g. Design to Value), portfolio transformation strategies (e.g. TPO) etc
- Enable insights from consumers & key customers to enrich internal growth aspirations, including macro category trends, margin trends etc
- Integrated Business Planning to identify key growth assumptions, limitations & reconciliation points versus their constrained yet aligned projections
- Finance - projection validations, margin aspirations etc
- External sources, intelligence, guidance, trends etc
- Optimize the CAGR mapping & de-averaging, down to category, geography and channels.
- Own the sign-off for commercial inputs into Network Design during design reviews, AOPs & SDDs
- Create Communcations, Sustainment & Governance of data & assumption health.
Compensation and Benefits:
- The expected compensation range for this position is between $106,400 - $178,100.
- Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process.
- Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 12% of annual salary paid out annually.
- Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Business, Business Analytics, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree in business, economics, data science, or a related field is a plus but not required.
- 6 years of relevant experience working in a commercial insights or strategic analysis role
