Overview
As the DTV and CTX AI Solutions Lead within the Supply Chain context, you will steer the implementation of AI-powered solutions aimed at advancing digital transformation strategies and improving customer experience through end-to-end supply chain operations. This role will define AI strategies across the supply chain, orchestrate cross-functional AI projects, and synergize with business and transformation teams to embody PepsiCo's AI Vision for Supply Chain & Manufacturing.
Responsibilities
The CTX and DTV AI Solutions lead will play a critical role in advancing PepsiCo's AI capabilities by leading the development and execution of scalable AI solutions across our manufacturing and warehousing sites. The position emphasizes strategic leadership, operational execution, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure AI solutions align with PepsiCo's goals and can be scaled across business units, sectors, and regions.

AI Strategy Development (30%):
- Shape and advocate for AI strategies centered on digitizing end-to-end supply chain processes and elevating customer experience, ensuring alignment with PepsiCo's overarching AI Vision.
- Lead initiatives that exploit AI to enable real-time supply sensing, dynamic supplier collaboration, and predictive scenario planning.
Process Reinvention and Implementation (40%):
- Spearhead the development and deployment of AI solutions to revolutionize supply chain processes including demand sensing, touchless planning, real-time quality monitoring, warehouse automation, and predictive maintenance.
- Develop AI models that support hyperautomation and digital twins, assisting in optimizing procurement, production scheduling, and inventory management.
Stakeholder Collaboration (20%):
- Collaborate intensively with both supply chain and customer service teams, translating their requirements into AI solution frameworks.
- Ensure cross-functional collaboration with AI engineers, data scientists, procurement teams, manufacturing planners, and logistics personnel to integrate AI solutions seamlessly into supply chain operations.
Performance Monitoring and Optimization (10%):
- Implement metrics to evaluate the impact and performance of AI-driven supply chain transformations.
- Continuously refine AI solutions based on performance feedback and emerging trends in supply chain management.
- Decision-Making Autonomy Moderate - Substantial autonomy in project execution and team management, aligning with the strategic direction set by the VP.
- Supervision Required Moderate - Operates under general supervision, with periodic updates to the VP, primarily for strategic alignment and major decisions.
- Complexity of Role High - Manages multiple AI projects, oversees a cross-functional team, and coordinates with both internal and external partners.
- Cross-Functional Interactions Yes - Significant interaction with Product, Engineering, Data Science, Business Units, Vendors, Consultants, HR, Finance, etc.
Compensation and Benefits:
- The expected compensation range for this position is between $118,700 - $198,800.

- Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 15% of annual salary paid out annually.
- Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. Master's preferred.
- 8+ years in AI and manufacturing/warehousing.
Required Expertise:
- AI technologies (e.g., Generative AI tools, IoT platforms).
- Managing cross-functional teams and AI projects.
- External technology vendors and consulting firms.
- Translating business challenges into AI solutions.
- Defining KPIs and measuring AI solutions' success.
- Strategic Implementation: Ability to contribute to AI strategies aligning with corporate goals.
- Innovative Thinking: Drive innovation and adopt cutting-edge AI technologies.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate and influence across various levels.
- Change Management: Lead change initiatives and technology adoption.
- Communication Skills: Articulate complex AI concepts effectively.
- Results-Oriented: Focus on achieving measurable business outcomes through AI implementations.
