Responsibilities

We are seeking an Accounting Ops Sr Accountant to join our Control team and support our Q&G BU's. This role is responsible for managing two direct reports

  • Responsible for the Q&G Restructuring and Relocation accounting close, including the corresponding journal entries, periodic schedules, reconciliations, reporting and SOX/Operating controls.
  • Oversees Royalty accounting and one Royalty Accountant, including calculation of Gatorade royalty, reviewing and approving corresponding journal entries, reconciliations, reporting, external audit support, payments and SOX/Operating controls.
  • Oversees Fringe accounting and one Fringe Accountant, including, reviewing and approving corresponding journal entries, reconciliations, periodic schedules, and SOX/Operating controls.
  • Oversees the escheat process as part of the Royalty Accountant role, including reviewing periodic reconciliations and annual filings with each state.
  • Lead regular and ad hoc analytic requests, including balance sheet reviews, periodic restructuring reviews, and other ad hoc requests.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of Accounting related experience (CPA would be considered a plus).
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
  • Experience with SAP and the BW reporting systems.
  • Superior analytical and problem solving capabilities
  • Superior communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced matrix organization.
  • Ability to adapt quickly & maintain flexibility with regard to ad-hoc projects, revisions to areas of responsibility and organizational change.
  • Manager experience a plus.
  • This position is limited to persons with indefinite right to work in the United States

Compensation and Benefits:

  • The expected compensation range for this position is between $68,000 - $113,850 based on a full-time schedule.
  • Location, confirmed job-related skills and experience will be considered in setting actual starting salary
  • Bonus based on performance and eligibility; target payout is 8% of annual salary paid out annually.
  • Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.
