Senior Accountant
Peloton Interactive, Inc. seeks Senior Accountant in New York, NY
Job Duties: Revenue accounting close process for assigned areas, including daily interaction with business partners and external auditors. Prepare and review monthly journal entries and related balance sheet account reconciliations. Assist in the calculation, presentation, and communication of revenue analytics and company Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to finance leadership. Develop robust documentation around SOX-compliant internal controls, and ensure all controls are performed and documented in a manner that will meet the requirements of both internal and external auditors. Ensure data integrity and compliance for assigned accounts across all relevant systems. Investigate reporting discrepancies and effectively communicate issues. Continually improve business processes through automation, thoughtful analysis, and researching or benchmarking best practices inside and outside of the company. Support business processes by partnering with other departments, including but not limited to the FP&A, Member Experience, Data Science, and Supply Chain teams. Assist in other assigned department-related tasks including special projects, ERP implementation, and other ad hoc analyses, as necessary. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Peloton offices may be required.

Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Accounting, Finance, Management, Business Administration, or a related quantitative discipline, and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or in any occupation in related field.
Special Skill Requirements: (1) financial data and accounting; (2) balance sheet accounts; (3) month-end closing reports; (4) US GAAP; (5) FASB codification; (6) compliance and operational efficiency; (7) budget strategy design; (8) Oracle; (9) financial reporting and financial statement preparation; (10) SEC. Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Peloton offices may be required.
Salary: $118,810.00 - $130,691.00 per annum.
