As an Information Security Threat Intelligence Analyst you will work on a team that supports Patagonia’s Global Information Security (GIS). In this role you will be responsible for building up the threat intelligence capability within Patagonia, collecting and analyzing threat intelligence information from various data sources, tracking and analysis of emerging cyber threats, and providing actionable information for the GIS team. You will bring your passion for the environment and Patagonia’s products to deliver excellent support of our business and associated stakeholders throughout the company.

What you’ll Do

  • Review past incidents and identify attack trends
  • Operationalize intelligence data for improved detection
  • Hunt for cyber-related threats from various threat intelligence sources
  • Track threat actors’ tactics, techniques, and procedures
  • Develop new ways to collect and analyze the necessary data
  • Analyze, escalate, and assist in remediation of information security incidents
  • Actively participate in the development, documentation, and implementation of new processes to expand and mature capabilities for the organization
  • Be a leading source of knowledge in information security and intelligence matters supporting other departments with your knowledge and expertise

Experience You Bring

  • At least two years of experience as a threat intelligence analyst
  • In-depth understanding of threat intelligence cycles and collection management
  • In-depth knowledge of IP networking
  • Experience in analyzing security vulnerabilities, exploitation techniques, and malware behavior
  • Proven analytical and report-writing abilities
  • Outstanding problem-solving skills
  • Comfortable speaking technically with analysts and strategically with senior executives
  • Strong presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Strong cross-team collaboration and team building skills
  • Able to manage competing priorities and work efficiently under pressure
