Outbrain’s R&D is looking for top-notch software engineers who will shape the technology of the world’s top content recommendation network.
Our scale
- We require thousands of servers across multiple data centers to serve our traffic.
- > 10k Kubernetes pods.
- Many dozens of services and data stores are accessed for each served request. We have a Netflix style micro services architecture where all pieces must fit together to deliver on performance and correctness.

A day in the life
- Develop elegant web UIs using the most up to date technologies (such as Typescript, Angular, React and more)
- Implement hybrid integration processes.
- Work in an Impact Driven development environment.
- Build scalable, extensible, and robust server-side APIs using, among other things, Java/Node
- Development in a Microservices CI\CD environment
What you’ll bring
- B.Sc. in Computer Science
- Engagement with open source projects is an advantage
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Experience in front end/full stack development in a product based company.
