Hi, we're Oscar. We're hiring an Associate to join our Virtual Care Operations team.

About the role

You will be responsible for working cross functionally with internal and external Oscar stakeholders to drive Oscar Medical Group's affordability initiatives and expand clinical programming. You will be responsible for monitoring population medical cost trends, rolling out new interventions to improve care access and reduce total cost of care, and assessing their performance against cost and clinical quality targets.The position requires data analysis, project management, implementation and communication skills with an ability to work across disparate initiatives and stakeholders at the same time.

You will report to the Senior Manager, Strategic Planning.

This is a hybrid role in our NYC office. You will work part of the time in the office and part of the time remote / work-from-home. #LI-Hybrid

Pay Transparency:

The base pay for this role is: $98,400 - $129,150 per year. You are also eligible for employee benefits, participation in Oscar's unlimited vacation program, and annual performance bonuses.

 

Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end implementation and ongoing management of new affordability programs, including project plan creation, workflow design, and managing cross-functional stakeholders to drive collaboration and on-time milestone completion.
  • Evaluates overall Virtual affordability initiative performance by creating, gathering, analyzing and interpreting data and metrics
  • Collaborate with data science, operations, product, and clinical teams to interpret findings, identify opportunities for improvement, implement mitigation strategies, and report out on progress in regular cost of care workgroups.
  • Compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in program management within healthcare space using data sets
  • 1+ year of SQL experience
  • 1+ year of Excel/Google Sheets experience
  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements in programs
  • 2+ years of experience delivering projects / programs independently and within a team environment

Bonus points

  • Experience analyzing medical cost trends & using total cost of care data to make program recommendations
  • Experience working with healthcare vendors
  • Experience / background in a fast-paced operations environment
  • Previous experience working at a payer or virtual care provider
  • Successfully executed enterprise-wide initiatives: defined project plans, coordinated resources, managed implementation activities, and developed all processes associated with program rollout and ongoing support

Pay Transparency:  Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education, and experience.
