Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
HR Operations Management
- Oversee the development and execution of a comprehensive HR operations strategy that aligns with organizational goals and promotes efficiency and effectiveness.
- Lead the management of US multistate payroll processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery.
- Direct the HR operations team in managing the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, and all job-related transitions.
- Oversee global mobility programs, ensuring smooth transitions for inbound and outbound assignees.
- Lead extended workforce management initiatives, including vendor relationships and compliance.
HR Technology
- Oversee the HR technology landscape, with a focus on optimizing Workday and other HR technology platforms.
- Drive the design, development, and implementation of HR technology solutions that enhance service delivery and user experience.
- Collaborate with IT and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of HR systems and data.
- Consult with COE leaders to identify and manage a technology roadmap that includes opportunities, key priorities, and best practice solutions enabled by technology and AI.
Leadership and Collaboration
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing HR operations team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with HR leadership and cross-functional teams to drive strategic HR initiatives and projects.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on HR operations and technology matters.
- Lead organizational change management efforts related to HR operations and technology projects
Mergers and Acquisitions
- Direct HR operations integration efforts during mergers and acquisitions, ensuring seamless transition and alignment of HR processes and systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess and address HR implications of mergers and acquisitions, including workforce planning, cultural integration, and change management.
Change Management and Compliance
- Develop and monitor performance metrics and KPIs to ensure service quality, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
Travel Requirements - 10%
Education, Skills and Experience Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A minimum of ten (10) years of HR operations experience, with at least five (5) years in a leadership role.
- Extensive experience with HR Technology platforms, particularly Workday, and the ability to leverage technology to enhance HR processes and service delivery.
- Proven track record of managing multistate payroll and HR operations in a complex organizational environment.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in leading and developing teams.
- Solid business acumen with focus/involvement in innovative and continuous process improvement activities; Ability to define issues, collect and analyze pertinent data, identify alternative solutions, project consequences of proposed actions, draw valid conclusions, propose sound recommendations, and implement an approved solution in support of specified goals
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in leading organizational change management efforts related to HR operations and technology projects.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on process improvement and innovation.
- Knowledge of state and federal employment laws and regulations.
- Highly developed analytical skills; Knowledge of research and statistical methods applicable to human resources management and reporting.
Preferred
- Master's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience in global mobility and extended workforce management.
