General Role Description:

As a Licensed Clinical Therapist, you will treat a wide variety of mental health conditions that reflect the needs of our diverse patient population. We offer a variety of solutions that meet the unique needs of our workforce and the patients they serve. From clinical operations such as credentialing to business operations such as contracting, we provide organizational support that allows our providers to focus on what matters – providing care.

Position Highlights & Primary Responsibilities:

\n
    \nForm excellent provider-patient alliances and coordinate care with external providers\nConduct outpatient psychiatric evaluations and provide ongoing medication management\nScreen and assess patients for common mental health and substance abuse disorders\nProvide treatment for a variety of mental health conditions using treatment approaches including cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and other evidence-based methods\nSystematically track treatment response and monitor patients for changes in clinical symptoms and treatment side effects or complications\nParticipate in enriching the training experience of our graduate students\nOpportunities to represent the practice in community presentations and lectures\nMaintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records (Athena) and clinical documentation, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements\n\n

    Required Qualifications:

    \n
      \nMaster’s degree in psychology, social work, or a related counseling field\nMust have a clear, active and unrestricted license (LICSW, LMFT, LMHC, or LPC) in the state of California\n\n

      Preferred Qualifications:

      \n
        \n2+ years professional social work / clinical experience post Master's degree\nExperience providing direct psychotherapy services to individuals and families\nExperience working with computers for professional communication and medical documentation - Excel, Outlook, Athena RMS (or other EHRs)\nAbility to work both independently and collaboratively with equal effectiveness\n\n

        California Residents Only: The hourly range for this role is $28.03 to $54.95 per hour. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
