Schedule : Full time, Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM-6:30 PM
Location : Onsite - 2800 Marcus Ave Suite 200 Lake Success, NY 11042
Primary Responsibilities:
- Greet and check-in and outpatients
- Scheduling new and follow-up visits, verifying insurance, obtaining referrals
- Daily work and monitoring of work queues for new appointments, answering incoming phone calls, assisting providers and patients with scheduling tests and/ or appointments for outside services
- Maintain and scan all incoming medical records in the patient charts, work side by side with all providers and various teams
- Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
- 1+ years of experience as front desk/customer service team member in a medical practice
- 1+ years of experience working with medical insurance websites, verification and referral processing
- Intermediate level of proficiency with computer skills and MS office
- Intermediate level of proficiency with customer service skills
- Intermediate level of knowledge of Epic EMR
The salary range for this role is $16.00 to $28.85 per hour based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
