This position will be fully remote and can be hired in any Canadian province with the exception of Québec

The Sr. Regional Marketing Programs Manager role oversees the Regional Marketing Programs of Western Canada, Ottawa & Public Sector, Toronto, and Quebec Strategic and Enterprise markets.

This role, reporting to the Senior Manager, Regional Marketing Programs, is responsible for working in collaboration with all marketing functions, sales and services organizations, partner alliances, and Optiv's partner community to devise and implement overarching regional marketing program strategies that drive incremental revenue for the Canada region, advance Optiv solutions, and increase brand awareness. The Sr. Regional Marketing Programs Manager will be the key stakeholder in establishing and directing marketing strategy and evaluating technology to help the Canada market move towards automation and effectively measure ROI.

How you'll make an impact

  • Lead efforts of developing comprehensive strategic marketing plans for the entirety of Canada which incorporate regional activities, alignment with corporate national campaigns and brand initiatives.
  • Oversee Canada marketing budget, responsible for Canada vendor relationships for promotional materials, inventory, printing, etc.
  • Partner as the primary point of contact for Canada with other areas of marketing (demand gen, solution management, brand and comms, marketing operations) to carry out the execution of strategies and tactics.
  • Partner with Canada Sales AVPs and Regional Sales Directors to understand their business needs and create marketing activities that align with national objectives and regional goals and priorities.
  • Execute strategic regional marketing programs, aligned to Optiv solutions, and oversee delegation of tasks to regional support as applicable.
  • Drive Services engagements and awareness in regional marketing motion.
  • Assess Canada-specific challenges of the field and create solutions to address those challenges.
  • Cross functionally collaboration with the partner alliances team to determine partner OEM partner involvement and funding.
  • Work with Optiv's OEM Partner community to devise and execute joint marketing plans supporting key business initiatives, technology plays and co-innovation opportunities.
  • Intimately understand and leverage available partner funding (MDF, Co-Op, BDF, etc.) to optimize activity effectiveness.
  • Develop and manage Canada-specific marketing budget, encompassing conferences, events, digital and demand generation, and creative assets, assessing their priority, impact, and feasibility.
  • Responsible for all activity analysis and ROI tracking, including reporting to senior level leadership.
  • Manages the post event/campaign/activity debrief process to determine effectiveness of each Canada regional marketing program.
  • Work with Optiv's Vice President of Communications, Creative, and Growth marketing to ensure representation of the Canadian market throughout all marketing programs.
  • Manage special projects as requested by the Sr. Manager, Regional Marketing Programs.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications, or equivalent area of study
  • Minimum 8 years field marketing/sales support experience
  • High familiarity of Canada and its territories
  • Experience in the cybersecurity industry, and understanding of its complex B2C sales cycles and marketing's impact on the business
  • Oversee from inception to completion campaign plans including audience target identification, campaign project plans/deliverables/owners, budgeting, and post-campaign reporting
  • Strong communication skills, able to build and maintain relationships and build rapport
  • Strong team player, with the ability to work with multiple stakeholders and work cross functionally with teams to facilitate involvement (customer marketing, product, presales, sales, SDRs, etc.)
  • Demonstrated analytical, organizational, negotiation, and project management skills
  • Strong working knowledge of Salesforce, Marketo, NetSuite, Domo
  • Budget management skills
