Based in Kansas City, the Sr. Financial Analyst will support the Finance organization with budgeting and forecasting, variance analysis, cash flow projections, and other ad-hoc analysis across multiple business units. This position will act as a trusted advisor and business partner to our internal stakeholders, driving financial awareness and operational efficiency throughout the organization.
How you'll make an impact:
- Act as a finance business partner to one or more of our strategic lines of business or key functional areas
- Lead Annual Budget preparation and input into our budgeting and forecasting tool, Adaptive Insights
- Lead Monthly variance analysis and reporting
- Build and maintain detailed financial models and revenue and profit forecasting
- Assist in creation of long-range financial plan, ensuring alignment with company strategy, market dynamics, and investor expectations
- Ad-hoc analysis and research requested by the business
- Conduct and support special projects through data analysis and research
- Preparation and compilation of reporting decks for both internal and external stakeholders
- Continuously monitor forecasted expenses and headcount to ensure accuracy
- Partner with the Business Intelligence group to create and refine key metric reporting
- Lead quarterly financial reviews with internal stakeholders
- Create agile, integrated financial plans that account for multiple scenarios

What we're looking for:
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, or other analytical field required; MBA, CPA, or CFA preferred
- 3+ years of experience in a similar analytical role, preferably with a company in the technology, services or cybersecurity field
- 2+ years of experience budgeting and forecasting expenses and/or revenue
- Highly competent in Excel: excellent financial modeling skills and ability to perform complex analyses with big data sets required
- Excellent presentation skills and comfort in communicating with multiple levels of leadership
- Proficient with NetSuite and Adaptive Insights or similar ERP and financial system
- General understanding of accounting and revenue recognition principles
