How you'll make an impact
- Configure, maintain, and optimize Proofpoint email gateway to protect against phishing, spam, malware, and other email-based threats.
- Monitor email traffic and analyze trends to identify potential security risks.
- Develop and implement policies and rules to enhance email security and compliance.
- Implement and manage DNS authentication protocols such as SPF, DKIM, and DMARC using tools like Proofpoint EFD and Valimail to secure email communications.
- Regularly audit and update DNS records to ensure compliance and prevent email spoofing.
- Collaborate with IT and domain administrators to configure and verify DNS settings.
- Monitor and analyze email DLP incidents and take appropriate action to mitigate risks.
- Work with stakeholders to ensure DLP policies align with business needs and regulatory requirements.
- Assist clients in understanding and implementing email security best practices.
- Provide training and guidance to clients on the use of email security tools and protocols.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to email delivery, filtering, and security.

What we're looking for
- Strong understanding of email security protocols, security technologies, and networking concepts.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and other stakeholders.
- Ability to analyze security data and identify potential threats.
- 5+years of experience with Proofpoint products, email security solutions, and/or related cybersecurity technologies.
- Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CISSP, CEH) can be beneficial.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, cybersecurity.
