Marketing Manager - Federal

Gambrills, MD

The Federal Marketing Manager is closely aligned with all marketing activities. This role will provide oversight surrounding the execution of Optiv + ClearShark's regional marketing campaigns. This highly interactive and dynamic position works closely with management as you will be the face of marketing to your region(s), devising and executing strategic marketing programs with cross-functional teams, impacting pipeline generation, and strengthening the Optiv + ClearShark brand.

How you'll make an impact

  • Build and provide feedback to marketing team responsible for field marketing, sales support and demand generation
  • Build brand awareness for Optiv + ClearShark value services to the Federal Government and industry
  • Stay current with marketing trends
  • Execute channel and field marketing events and campaigns
  • Analyze and share key marketing metrics, including lead conversion, MQL/SQL, reach/engagement, ROI, etc.
  • Cultivate partner and customer relationships
  • Manage marketing development funds (MDF) process
  • Provide on-site logistical support for marketing events and trade shows

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Prior event planning experience required
  • Knowledge of marketing development fund (MDF) processes required
  • Federal experience preferred
  • Graphic design experience a plus
  • Strong project management skills
  • Creative outlook
  • Detail-oriented
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision
  • Exemplary oral and written communication skills
