Integration Engineer | Remote, US

This position will be fully remote and can be hired anywhere in the continental U.S.

The Integration Engineer spans operations, production, and development work in an even split. Operational support activities include coordinating with internal.

The integration Engineer is responsible for the configuration, maintenance, and reliable operation of MSS systems. Installs and upgrades hardware and software, manages MSS network systems, ensures data security and backup procedures are followed, troubleshoots MSS platform related issues, and provides technical support to internal MSS users. This position reports directly to the Manager of Cyber-Operations.

  • Ability and willingness to learn and dive head first into new tools and technologies across different functions.
  • Willing to go above and beyond and pursue extensive knowledge on the tools and services assigned to become a subject matter expert in them to help support and maintain.
  • Troubleshooting mindset and natural curiosity to solve problems that arise.
  • Help maintain, monitor, and support 3rd party applications.
  • Experience with various industry tools such as but not limited to; ServiceNow, Jira, etc..
  • Experience in one or more cloud technologies and services, (AWS, Azure, or GCP, etc..)
  • Experience with server administration and patching with Windows/Linux.
  • Assist with on-prem to cloud migrations for AD, servers, etc..
  • Ability to serve on call rotations and assist with after-hours upgrades with the team.
  • Experience with RMM (Remote Management Monitoring).
  • Ability to take on other assigned duties.

What we're looking for

  • CompTIA certs, Cloud certs, or other industry related certifications.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information System, Security or Networking or Associate's degree in above field with equivalent experience required
  • 3-5 years' experience in related fields
  • Experience in SSO/IDP such as (Ping, CyberArk, OAuth, etc.)
  • Experience working with Internal and client Ticketing and Knowledge Base Systems for Incident and Problem tracking as well as procedures. (i.e. Service Now, Jira, Confluence, etc.)
  • Experience or Desire to learn and become subject matter expert in areas including but not limited to; Elasticsearch, OpenFaaS, StreamSets, Kubernetes, and LogicMonitor.
  • A basic understanding of a wide array of server grade applications such as: DBMS, DNS, SMTP, IIS, SharePoint, Active Directory, Identity Management, Patch Management, LDAP, SQL, AntiVirus.
  • Confident presentation, written and oral communication skills.
