We're hiring for a new Global Head - Online Sellers & Marketplaces, one of our key growth areas in OFX. You will be responsible for growing our eCommerce segment globally, driving the strategy and delivering results. You will lead a cross-functional, global team to deliver significant growth. You will work globally with our Regional Presidents (North America, Asia Pacific, UK & Europe), plus teams across Product, Sales and Marketing to drive momentum and success.

You will be an imaginative and energetic leader, who can build great partnerships with the world's biggest Marketplaces (OFX is one of Amazon's approved Payment Service Providers) and e-Commerce Platforms. You will personally thrive on pushing forward and delivering on ambitious growth, working with a positive, motivated and fun team.

*This role can be based in San Francisco or London. OFX has a hybrid working model (a blend of in-office and working from home).Pleaseindicate in the application questions what working arrangements would be your preference. Please note OFX is continuing to hire with interviewing and on-boarding done mainly virtually.


What you'll do
Core operational / functional accountabilities
  • In the last 3 years OFX has built significant momentum in the e-Commerce segment for cross border payments. You will hold group responsibility for continuing to grow this in line with pre-determined KPI's;
  • Write the vision and growth strategy with peers in product, sales, marketing, finance and operations for how OFX will accelerate in this segment;
  • P&L ownership for OFX's e-Commerce segment, driving success via close collaboration and reporting lines within product, sales, marketing, finance, operations, compliance and legal;
  • Develop and lead a global business development team to meet and deliver strategic objectives in this segment across all key regions. These objectives may cover new markets, partnerships, product feature enhancements and M&A opportunities;
  • Work closely with the Sales and Marketing teams to deliver a new operational structure for supporting our e-Commerce merchants;
  • Ensure that all strategic initiatives and prioritization decisions address opportunities and constraints within, Risk, Compliance and Global Operations;

Leadership
  • Develop and refine the strategy to grow the Online Seller & e-Commerce segment globally;
  • Lead a global and cross functional team to deliver the KPI's identified in the annual business plan to scale OFX in the e-Commerce segment;
  • Define and execute a go to market strategy for growing top line revenue by selling to online sellers, e-Commerce service providers (via Partnerships), marketplaces and other within the ecosystem;
  • Communicate a highly articulated vision for eCommerce that can be understood and adopted across the business;
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key operational and functional stakeholders

Reporting
  • Regular reporting to the CEO, COO, CMO, CTO and CFO

What you'll bring
Qualifications
  • Minimum undergraduate degree;

Knowledge, skills, experience
  • 10+ years in payments, marketplaces or e-Commerce or preferably both;
  • 10+ years' experience working in senior management to align business development strategies and solutions across geographies;
  • 10+ years of proven track record of B2B/ enterprise/ consultative/ solution sales experience in financial software sales or adjacent industry;
  • Knowledge of applicable legislation, standards, policies and procedures and the regulatory environment within which OFX operates;
  • Demonstrable success of winning Enterprise level sales contracts at C-level;
  • Excellent negotiation skills, proven track record of successfully winning new business;
  • Strong experience developing and maintaining global, cultural, complex and long-term client relationships that sustain results;
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team building skills;
  • Strategic planning skills;
  • Ability to gather data, investigate and analyse information while being able to draw conclusions and issue recommendations;
  • Ability to perform complex tasks and to prioritise multiple projects
