Full-Time: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM

We are adding a full-time 1st shift Quality Inspector to the team!

The Quality Inspector significantly contributes to safety, quality, delivery and cost of the distribution center. This position will inspect finished goods to ensure that all products pass manufactured tolerances as well as meet customer packaging and labeling requirements. They will also manage the disposition of material with internal or external suppliers. They will be a key contributor in the root cause identification and correction action for issues as they arise.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect incoming finished goods for compliance to manufactured tolerance, packing and labeling.
  • Verify and maintain quality records.
  • Maintain relationships with manufacturing sites and suppliers to assist in root cause and corrective action.
  • Review / Oversee implementation of engineering change notices.
  • Participate / lead Continuous Improvement activity for the business.
  • Prepare and communicate inspection results with the focus on root cause and corrective action.


Required Skills:
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as drawings, safety rules, operating instructions, standard work and work instructions.
  • Ability to run and analyze routine reports and correspondence.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Outlook & Word).
  • Ability to work independently to execute initiatives and accomplish goals.
  • Strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Must be able to hear/speak/understand team members at all levels within a diverse workforce.
  • Able to operate all powered industrial equipment (Reach truck, order picker, counterbalanced lift) training available.
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds without assistance.
  • Available to travel for training.
