WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR:

We are seeking a talented and dynamic Proposal Engineer to join our West European team. As a Proposal Engineer, you will play a vital role in securing new business opportunities by preparing compelling and well-structured proposals. You will collaborate with various internal teams, analyze project requirements, develop technical solutions, and present comprehensive proposals that exceed client expectations.

In this position, you will get to:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and develop technical solutions.
  • Review and analyze incoming requests for proposals (RFPs), requests for quotations (RFQs), and invitations to bid (ITBs).
  • Conduct thorough technical and commercial analysis of project specifications and constraints.
  • Prepare and present detailed proposals, including scope of work, cost estimations, technical specifications, and delivery schedules.
  • Create visually appealing and professional proposal documents, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and compliance with company standards.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to develop effective bid strategies and ensure alignment with client needs.
  • Identify and evaluate risks, challenges, and potential mitigations associated with proposed projects.
  • Coordinate with subject matter experts, engineering teams, and vendors to gather relevant information and technical details for proposals.
  • Maintain a comprehensive database of proposal content.
  • Support post-proposal activities such as clarification meetings, negotiations, and contract handover to project teams.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor offerings to enhance proposal competitiveness.


YOU HAVE:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering.
  • Proven experience in estimating or a similar role within the energy sector.
  • Strong technical aptitude and understanding of complex engineering concepts.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel).
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Languages:
    • Native in English language.
  • Full clean driving license.
  • Capability to work under pressure.
