WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:

nVent Thermal management does have in the Benelux a solid market share of electrical heat tracing systems and application. We serve a large customer base (end customers, installers, EPC companies) with projects varying in size from few 000's to over M$. We do sell products and provide customers the full execution range of projects depending on their needs and preferences. The execution is mainly around engineering and design, including possibly the supervision or installation of our products supplied. Our Netherlands office location is Amstelveen, near Amsterdam.

In this role, you will manage medium to larger size projects which can have a duration from several weeks up to 6-9 months if not more.

As a projects manager, you are expected to meet the customers' expectations per contract. You do this by monitoring the internal and external processes and achieving the required planning. You maintain contact with all internal parties involved and inform them in a timely manner of new developments or changes.

You do this by:
  • Being the central point of contact of nVent for our client, subcontractor and other external parties on all contractual and operational aspects
  • Monitoring the progress of planning, you ensure that the right people and products are at the right time and place so that schedules can be met
  • Ensuring all preparations with internal stakeholders (warehouse, procurement, projects controls) are put in place for timely shipment and administration.
  • Continuously entertaining interaction with the projects members in question working on your project(s).


YOU HAVE:

Besides being communicatively strong and describing yourself as a real team player, you also have additional knowledge, such as:
  • Relevant bachelor degree or equivalent experience.
  • Preferably you have gained some experience as a project manager or engineer, preferably in EPC processes within the oil, gas and petrochemical or energy industry.
  • A driving license B, with which you can immediately hit the road with your new car.
  • Knowledge of MS office and you can quickly master new software.

Perseverance and you are not afraid to take initiative.
