In this position, you will get to:

• Develop, implement, and maintain a continuously improving complete maintenance program that optimizes safety performance, asset utilization and health, cost-effectiveness and quality objectives, while meeting or exceeding production and business key results

• Develop, evaluate and implement appropriate predictive and preventive maintenance strategies and techniques for a premier reliability program

• Deliver results through demonstration of nVent's cultural beliefs, leading by example and driving those beliefs into the maintenance team

• Maintain a positive work environment/culture that fosters a commitment to safety excellence, efficiency, effectiveness and high morale while ensuring that all employees are treated fairly and equitably

• Select, develop and administer a staff with appropriate training, skills and cultural attitude to maintain all equipment and facilities infrastructure in a safe and efficient working condition.

• Ensure the long-term reliability, availability, and safety of assets for the facility in support of manufacturing optimization

• Drive reliability programs including predictive and preventive maintenance optimization, ensuring availability of spare parts, tools and equipment. Drive effective utilization of resources by pushing the existing time-based PM's toward condition-based maintenance. Justify the utilization of remote monitoring of equipment as appropriate

• Develop and support new equipment acquisitions through capital requirements with payback in less than 2 years

• Develop, coordinate and maintain the asset management system.

You have:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial or Electrical Engineering, required, Master Degree in Production or Business Administration is a Plus

• 10+ years validated managerial experience leading large work maintenance teams (+ 50 team members)

• 5+ years of experience working on a Metal Mechanics Manufacturing environment focused on Metal Cutting, Metal Bending, MIG & TIG Welding, Powder paint lines and Fabrication experience

• Proven experience working with Amada CNC turret punch & laser cutting machines, Fanuc, Cincinnati or Allen Bradley controls

• Validated experience working with Punch Press Stamping machines and Press Brake Machines for bending light mild steel and stainless steel

• Ample experience required in MIG and TIG welding maintenance equipment

• Proven experience working with high efficiency automated robotic welding and polishing processes

• Validated experience working and improving a mix of legacy equipment and new technology edge equipment in a work environment of processes and machines from 1 year old to 20 years old equipment

• Demonstrated results improving equipment efficiency using digital tools to monitor and analyze equipment down time, MTBF, MTTR

• Demonstrated results improving equipment efficiency using Lean tools, TPM, 5S, OEE or other CI techniques

• Experience in Creating, Updating and improving Preventative Maintenance schedule and requirements

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

• Validated ability to drive organizational change

• Fully bilingual.
