What YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:

In this position, you will get to:

  • Demonstrated experience in successfully deploying Lean and Six Sigma Lean Six Sigma Principles, System, Tools, Training and Methodologies
  • Excellent Leadership and Communication Skills
  • Responsible for the processes improvements in the Operations chain, including safety, quality, production and material handling
  • Leads the Lean activities in operations to achieve results based on strategy deployment
  • Creates strategic lean transformation plan and drives preparation and execution of improvement efforts throughout the facility.
  • Tasked with the development and implementation of the lean cost savings annual plan
  • Engages the organization to adapt or maintain a lean continuous improvement culture
  • Create a future state map. This should include the product value streams as they would appear in the long term
  • Optimize the state map with the use of lean techniques. This will point out possible waste, eliminate the identified waste sources, and create short and middle term state maps, which improve on the process value
  • Create an Environment of Continuous Improvement
  • Focus on customer valued KPIs

  • Reduce lead time
  • Reduce cost of operations
  • Reduce quality rejections
  • Coach and facilitate teams and individuals to identify and implement improvement opportunities
  • Develop and build a culture of engagement at all levels of the business to provide a highly energized team which is flexible to meet the changing needs of the business
  • Create a Lean training plan that foster the Continues Improvement and Lean knowledge through the entire organization
  • Collaborate with Operations, maintenance and manufacturing teams to achieve the best and more efficient process and material flow through the use of lean techniques
  • Develop, identify and couch teams in the use of Kaizen at all levels of the organization
  • Develop a strategy to get current in the update and development and use of Standard work sheets as a manufacturing improvement tool
  • Standardize lean processes, daily KPI's reviews, work instructions, standard work, Gemba walks and other lean principles through the entire campus
  • Results-driven change agent
  • Effective communicator. Able to communicate in all media forms and cross -culturally
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Detail oriented with a strong organizational approach to work and in leading data
  • Ability to influence all levels of the organization


  • You have:

    • Academic background in Mechanical, Industrial or electrical Engineering is preferred.
    • 5+ Years' experience Leading roles and implementing Lean on shop floor with multi product- multi market - mostly customized solutions
    • Green Belt or Black Belt certification (Preferred)
    • Fully Bilingual required
    • Project and facilitation experience in heavily matrixed environment
    • Organizational Change experience
    • Skills:
      • Excellent math abilities and proven understanding of data analysis/statistical methods
      • Time Management
      • Lean management/ CI/ Toyota System Certification preferred.
      • Problem Solving Skills
      • People / Function Management
      • Customer Focus
      • Agent of change mind set.
