Job Description
Operates Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) equipment to produce images of the body for diagnostic purposes. Collaborates with clinicians to ensure appropriateness of studies. Maintains required documentation.
Job Responsibility
- Performs thorough screening of patients prior to procedure.
- Ensures no metal objects accompany patient into procedure room.
- Prepares patient for exam by placing and positioning patient on exam table within the gantry.
- Enters patient history data and other pertinent information obtained from a requisition completed by the Radiologist to include anatomical area of interest.
- Performs MRI procedures to include: abdominal, thoracic, neurological exams, extremities, sub-periosteal implant planning, radiation therapy treatment planning, biopsies etc.

Shift Details: Tuesday-Saturday, 9:30am-6pm
Job Qualifications
- Vocational or Technical school Diploma required.
- Current License to practice as a Radiologic Technologist in New York State required, and Current ARRT Radiology registration required, plus specialized certifications as needed.
- 1-3 years of technical experience, required.
- ARRT (MR) registry, preferred.
- Experience with MRI, preferred.
