Northrop Grumman is looking for a Trainer Production 2/3 to join our team in Iuka, MS .

The Trainer Production p erforms job training, skills training, and some classroom training in ASTAR Training Center as well as assembly and production areas. Participates in the development and implementation of new training programs and may introduce new processes and sequences for manufacturing areas. Maintains rosters of training progress, examination records, and certification records and may monitor trainees.

This position may be filled at a Level 2 or Level 3 based on the qualifications outlined below.

This is an A shift Position. Mon-Thurs 7am-5 :30pm

Level 2
Basic Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED and a minimum of 2 years of experience in operations or manufacturing.
  • Ability to obtain a DoD Security Clearance, not required to apply.
  • This position requires the ability to perform moderate strenuous physical and repetitious work to include: bending, stooping, kneeling, carrying tools, lifting up to 50 pounds and working overhead.
  • Experienced in/familiarity with training systems or programs in electrical or structures programs
Level 3
Basic Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED and a minimum of 4 years of experience in operations or manufacturing.
  • Ability to obtain a DoD Security Clearance, not required to apply.
  • This position requires the ability to perform moderate strenuous physical and repetitious work to include: bending, stooping, kneeling, carrying tools, lifting up to 50 pounds and working overhead.
  • Experienced in/familiarity with training systems or programs in electrical or structures programs
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong background in structures, electrical, and hydraulics systems
  • Ability and experience in analyzing, designing, and developing publications and training materials
  • Able to read and interpret schematics, assembly drawings, process specifications, technical manuals, written instructions, test procedures, etc.
  • Experience with MES Manufacturing Execution systems
  • Read and Interpret blueprints
  • Inspection criteria
  • Compliance knowledge
  • Experience with hydraulic parts, assemblies, components, and systems in an aerospace, automotive, military, manufacturing and/or maintenance environment
  • Ability and experience in analyzing, designing, and developing publications and training materials
Salary Range: $36,500 - $60,900
Salary Range 2: $43,400 - $72,300

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
