As a Systems Architect - Level 5 (Staff) located in Morrisville, NC, you'll be a linchpin in missions of paramount importance, defining the art of the possible from day one.
This position is 100% onsite and cannot accommodate telecommute work. This position will work a 9/80 schedule, with every other Friday off.
This position is contingent upon clearance verification and transfer to the NG sponsored program as well as continued ability to maintain required clearance level.
In the role, the Systems Architect would be responsible for interfacing with the users and sponsors and all other stakeholders in order to determine their evolving needs. Generating the highest level of system requirements, based on the users' needs and other constraints.
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

Interface with users, stakeholders, and sponsors to identify evolving needs and translate them into system requirements and actionable solutions.

Develop and manage systems engineering artifacts, including specifications, interface documents, use cases, and trade studies.

Lead the definition, communication, and implementation of desired system capabilities, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Solve system-level challenges by leveraging innovative tools such as Kubernetes, AWS/C2S, and Docker within Agile development practices.

Present technical concepts to diverse audiences and exercise technical leadership to drive mission success.

Basic Qualifications (Required):

Requires an active Top-Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) clearance with an active Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph at time of application

Bachelor's degree in a STEM field with 12 years of professional experience - OR - Master's degree in a STEM field with 10 years of professional experience - OR - PhD in a STEM field with 8 years of professional experience
