Northrop Grumman Microelectronics Center (NGMC) is seeking a Staff Systems Engineer - Requirements. This position is located at Annapolis Junction, MD, Linthicum Heights, MD, Beavercreek, OH, Boulder, CO, or Azusa, CA.
What You'll Get to Do:

Plan and execute the program lifecycle, including major program milestones / reviews (e.g., SRR, SFR, SDR, PDR, CDR, SVR, TRR, peer reviews, Pre-test reviews, Post Test Reviews, Pre-Ship reviews, Etc.)
Ensure system technical compliance with the program Statement of Work (SOW) and system requirements
Manage the vertical and horizontal technical integration throughout the product teams and program life cycle, collaborating across an entire portfolio of programs
Collect, manage, and report the program metrics and Technical Performance Measures (TPMs)
Manage risk and opportunity and the production of core engineering work products and track the work products and associated program dependencies in the program schedule.
This position is contingent upon acquiring and maintaining a U.S. Government security clearance per program requirements.
This position will serve on-site in one of these area locations: Annapolis Junction, MD, Linthicum Heights, MD, Beavercreek, OH, Boulder, CO, or Azusa, CA.
Basic Qualifications for Staff Systems Engineer - Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline with 12 years of experience, a Master's degree in a STEM discipline with 10 years of experience or a PhD in a STEM discipline with 8 years of experience
Demonstrated experience defining and/or managing requirements of large-scale systems
Experience analyzing system and subsystem performance at various lifecycle stages
Requirements development from conceptualization to verification
Demonstrated experience with Systems Development Lifecycle with a focus on SRR to CDR
Experience in systems development, integration, and/or test
Experience coordinating with various team members across subsystems during the development process
This position requires the applicant to be a U.S. Citizen
Ability to obtain and maintain the necessary U.S. Government security clearance per customers' requirements
Preferred Qualifications of Staff Systems Engineer - Requirements:

Use of requirements management tools (examples Doors or Cameo)
Risk and Opportunity Management experience
Understanding of DoD systems engineering requirements
Experience leading small teams
Ability to manage a large database of requirements across systems, subsystems, and lower-level components
Multi-Disciplinary Engineering exposure (Software, Hardware, Electrical) and strong ability to communicate cross functionally
Salary Range: $155,400.00 - $256,400.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.The application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
