We are looking for you to join our team as a Staff Systems Engineer for TPS-78 International programs. You will be the Staff Systems Engineer for one or more International TPS-78 production programs (either FMS or Direct Commercial Sales). This position is based out of Elkridge, MD and will be 100% on-site. This is a very visible position, both internally and externally to the end-user.
This position is contingent upon successful transfer of an active DoD Secret Clearance prior to start.
What You'll Get to Do:
As an integral part of our Engineering & Sciences team you will support the International TPS-78 production programs to build, test and deliver one or more TPS-78 radars to various international customers.
Be the engineering 'face' of the TPS-78 radar to the customer and to internal stakeholders
Interface with key suppliers as well as internal manufacturing and supporting engineering teams to drive on-time delivery of solutions to maintain production schedule
Lead internal and external design reviews
Support program status meetings
Lead the overall integration and test strategy
Work with other technical leads to develop schedules, technical briefs and status
Own the engineering staffing, program planning and execution
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree with 12 years of experience, master's degree with 10 years of experience or Ph.D. with 8 years of experience in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or related technical fields; an additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
U.S Citizenship required.
A current / active DoD Secret Clearance.
Experience with Systems Engineering concepts, including requirements analysis and verification planning and execution
Strong team leadership skills with demonstrated experience leading a diverse team to achieve a complex goal and solve complex problems
Knowledge and experience with Agile principles, tools, and implementation
Experience with Agile tools (Bit Bucket, Jira, Confluence)
Ability to travel internationally
Preferred Qualifications:
Advanced degrees in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics or other related technical fields.
Knowledge and experience in the development of ground, air, or sea-based radar, EW, and/or COMMS systems (preferably with the TPS-78 radar)
Knowledge and experience in on-site test demonstrations planning and execution
Experience troubleshooting and resolving complex HW/SW integration problems

Salary Range: $163,200.00 - $244,800.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
