Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Staff Software Configuration Analyst to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals within our Systems Engineering organization. This role is located in Melbourne, FL.

In this role, the successful candidate will lead the Engineering Release team and oversee training execution of both new and existing program requirements. They will ensure tasks are completed alongside team members during peak times to align with schedule milestones. This position will act as a CPLM Liaison across multiple engineering disciplines. This position pushes innovation, redefines engineering capabilities, and drives advances within a diverse team of individuals. Candidate will interface with a matrixed, cross-disciplined team, Program Leadership and the Customer on a regular basis.

Technical proficiency: Advanced knowledge of Product Lifecycle Management tools and requirements.

Problem-solving and decision-making: Use problem-solving and data-driven approaches to identify and resolve issues and make informed decisions that align with the goals of the team.

Basic Qualifications:
Must have a Bachelor of Science degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math (STEM) discipline AND 12 years of related professional/military experience OR a Master of Science degree in a STEM discipline AND 10 years of related professional/military experience, OR a STEM Ph.D. AND 8 years of related professional/military experience
Your ability to transfer and maintain the final adjudicated government Secret clearance (DoD must be in-scope or enrolled in Continuous Evaluation) and any program access(es) required for the position within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the Company.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in Aerospace and/or Systems Software Development.
Demonstrated ability to comprehend, implement, and adhere to documented processes with an inherent ability to make sound decisions.
Experience administering configuration and data management release cycles for drawings, models and configured documents and administering changes using CPLM, NX, ROSE Tool and JIRA.
Experience providing technical support for the development, testing, and implementation of Common Product Lifecycle Management (CPLM) (Teamcenter)
Experience supporting CPLM user issue resolutions and triage/prioritize impact of user issues in CPLM.
Knowledge of EIA-649 or MIL-HDBK-61B.
Demonstrated expert technical knowledge over CDM practice and SOW areas.
Experience acting as a CPLM liaison across multiple engineering disciplines across multiple programs.
Experience leading Engineering Release team and overseeing training execution of existing and new requirements.
Experience leading CPLM SMEs and overseeing training execution of existing and new requirements.
Experience examining engineering drawings and related documents for soundness, completeness and conformity to standards, and specifications.
Experience working knowledge/training in Model Based System Engineering (MBSE) Tools (Cameo, Magic Draw, Rhapsody or similar).
Experience using SharePoint, Cameo, DOORs, and Atlassian (JIRA, Confluence, BitBucket).
Knowledge of program and division Principle & Operating Practices to identify correct CPLM usage.
Experience examining technical principles, theories and concepts and apply them to develop recommended solutions to technical problems.
Familiarity with a ticketing workflow system (Service Now).
Ability to identify gaps in processes.
Ability to assist with creating and maintaining product documentation.
Working knowledge of System Engineering (SE) processes, including SE experience across multiple levels of integration.
Knowledge/Experience with Writing Requirements.
Familiarity with DoD program lifecycles. Including planning and navigation of major milestones/events, development of technical baselines, and configuration audits.
Experience or knowledge of maintaining a bill of material (BOM) between PLM and ERP systems.
Knowledge of product baselines and configuration status accounting.
Solid written and verbal skills to effectively interact with Government counterparts, other defense contractor organizations, and other cross-functional organizations.

Primary Level Salary Range: $134,300.00 - $201,500.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
