The preferred location for this position is Huntsville, AL or Roy, Utah but can be worked at any Major Defense systems site i.e (Mclean, Virginia, Linthicum, Maryland, Virginia; Orlando, Florida, Plymouth, MN).

Position Overview:
The Staff Process Improvement Analyst will join the DS Sector Team to work on multiple programs within the Sector.
Responsibilities will include working with internal stakeholders to identify, prioritize and lead/facilitate improvement efforts resulting in measurable operational efficiencies. You will be responsible for primary support of the state Sector driven continual improvement projects at various locations

Essential Functions:

Lead/facilitate integrated, multi-disciplined continuous improvement projects that support the sector's strategic direction
Engage in targeted activities with program teams at the request of the leadership
Coach/mentor improvement teams to develops solutions to problems of varying complexity which require a high degree of ingenuity and creativity
Establish performance metrics to measure and sustain improvements
Provide coaching, training and consultation in Six-Sigma and Lean principles to colleagues pursuing certification
Demonstrate success in leading diverse cross functional teams to higher performance
Maintain positive working relationships with peers, leadership, and team members when interacting on difficult systematic problems
Communicate improvement progress and issues through visual, verbal, and written methods to stakeholders and business leaders
Foster a collaborative culture that sustains the momentum around employee engagement and inclusion, affordability, innovation, value growth and continuous improvement.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university and 12 years of related experience in Quality, Manufacturing, Engineering, Mission Assurance or Program Management, or a Master's Degree and 8 years of related experience
Proven success in leading multiple process improvement teams/activities across programs or disciplines
Ability to organize, prioritize and self-manage a variety of improvement activities
Basic knowledge of Tableau and/or Power BI, SharePoint and Jira/Azure DevOps
Six-Sigma Green Belt Certification
Ability and willingness to travel 50% of the time.
Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Government security clearance at the DoD Secret level

Preferred Qualifications:

Six-Sigma Black Belt or Lean Expert Certification
Proficiency in Data/statistical analysis
Microsoft Office products
Excellent communication and presentation skills
* A current active in-scope U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance
Salary Range: $122,100.00 - $212,000.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.The application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
