Our employees are not only part of history, they're making history.The Defense Systems (DS) Sector Human Resources organization is seeking a Staff Organizational Effectiveness Representative with significant consulting experience and expertise in organizational change management to join the Talent and Organizational Effectiveness Team supporting the Strategic Deterrent Systems (SDS) division. This role, reporting to the Senior Manager, Talent Management, will play a pivotal role as a consultative partner and organizational change management expert for large-scale programs within the SDS division team. A key aspect of this role will be to convert academic theories and best practices into actionable and practical strategies that are directly applicable to achieving business priorities. This position will be based on-site in Roy, UT to be co-located with the SDS business.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate closely with SDS HR and business teams to implement talent strategies and programs, such as talent reviews, succession management and talent identification, and technical/leadership talent development.
Develop and execute strategic, practical, business-focused initiatives, tools, and comprehensive education programs that facilitate career mobility, cultivate high-performing teams and drive leadership transformation.
Utilize data analytics to identify organizational gaps, provide data-driven recommendations, and track metrics related to people and organizational outcomes.
Provide expert, practical, business-focused consulting, coaching, and support to the SDS HR team, ensuring high-touch guidance and strategic talent solutions leveraging consulting expertise.
Drive participation in cohort and development programs, managing projects with strong project and change management discipline.
Qualifications for Senior Principal Talent Partner

Bachelor's degree with 12+ years of experience or Master's degree with 10+ years of experience in HR, Talent Management, Learning, or related field. Will consider 16 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree requirement.
Demonstrated experience leading organizational interventions from assessment to implementation
Broad experience applying best practices in organization, team and leadership effectiveness to address business issues and enhance performance
Minimum 3 years of consulting/business partnering experience, offering strategic HR or talent solutions to business challenges, with the demonstrated ability to scope problems, recommend practical solutions, gain client buy-in, and deliver desired results
Minimum 3 years of experience in designing and implementing talent programs, with expertise in strategic talent management, performance management, organizational change management, adult learning, instructional design, or organizational development.
Minimum 3 years large-scale change initiatives to support business strategy with demonstrated proficiency in creating resources and tools for executive stakeholders.
Demonstrated experience designing and facilitating leadership and team engagements to meet client needs, to include creating presentations and templates, professional resources, and tools for executive level stakeholders.
Demonstrated data literacy experience successfully developing measures and metrics, creating data visualization for executive stakeholders, and addressing business problems with data solutions.
Strong business acumen with a focus on how to use talent processes and tools to accelerate business results.
Excellent relationship-building skills with the ability to effectively manage stakeholders at all levels.
Demonstrated aptitude for learning and flexibility to manage multiple projects/clients simultaneously, mitigate and escalate risk, adapt to shifting priorities, and navigate ambiguous situations.
Preferred Qualifications for Senior Principal Talent Partner

Master's Degree in HR Management, Talent Management, Organizational Development, Industrial and Organizational Psychology, or a related field
Certification in change management, project management, consulting, coaching, Human Resources, or agile methodology.
Prior experience as an internal or external consultant in a complex, matrixed organization
Prior experience as an HR Business Partner, Organizational Effectiveness Consultant, or in Talent Management roles
Prior experience with and/or certifications in common assessments and models related to organization development and leadership and team effectiveness
Prior experience in the aerospace and defense industry to support understanding of sector-specific challenges and opportunities.

Salary Range: $122,100.00 - $183,100.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.The application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
