This position is located in Roy, UT and will support the SDS Division. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.
What You'll Get To Do:
The Staff Space Planner will oversee and manage the operational aspects of ongoing facility projects and serves as liaison between facilities management and planning, project team, and frontline management. Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports. Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.
Essential responsibilities include:

Leads the planning of office space utilization with requirements of organizational efficiency, and available facilities and funds.

Supports the planning, coordination and allocation of office space for all SDS locations.

Partners with program integration team contacts for program allocated seating.

Develops and recommends long-range plans to meet future space needs.

Formulates, recommends, and ensures compliance with approved standards and policies relating to office space allocation.

Provides day-to-day direction, mentorship, and technical expertise to peers using established policies and precedents.

Monitors work operations of employees daily and actively assists or provides direction to the team as required.

May assist with delegate duties to include staff meetings, team escalations, executive reporting, executive briefings and more.

Ensures that projects and leadership requests are completed on schedule following established procedures and schedules.

Translate business goals and requirements into actionable space plans and scenarios. Advise senior leadership and department heads on space utilization and allocation strategies.

This position's standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

Basic Qualifications

12 years of experience with a Bachelor's degree, 10 years of experience with a Master's degree, or 8 years of experience with a PhD. An additional 4 years of experience is accepted in lieu of degree.

Candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD secret clearance.

2+ years supporting space planning, office planning, facilities planning, and/ or program integration teams.

1+ years of experience leading projects or cross functional teams.

Prior customer service experience.

Prior experience with Archibus.

Preferred Qualifications

In scope active DoD Clearance Secret level or above.

Previous management experience.

Prior Space Planning experience.

Excellent written and oral communication.

Strong ability to establish, develop, and maintain interpersonal relationships.

Prior experience with NGCampus.

Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.

PMP certification.

Excellent leadership, interpersonal communications, organizational and professional development/mentoring skills, with the ability to interface with all levels of employees, stakeholders, external partners, and SDS leadership.

Must be able to work independently, function in a fast-paced team environment, and be flexible in changing direction.

Primary Level Salary Range: $122,100.00 - $183,100.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.The application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
