Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Staff Configuration Analyst to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals within our Systems Engineering organization. This role is located in Melbourne, FL.
This position is responsible for the planning and coordinating preparation of project documentation, such as engineering drawings, production specifications and schedules, and contract modifications, to ensure customer contract requirements are met.
Key Responsibilities:
Reviews contract to determine documentation required for each phase of project, applying knowledge of engineering and manufacturing processes
Analyzes proposed changes of product design to determine effect on overall product and system
Coordinates modification records for management control
Establishes change orders and prepares for change authorization and documentation by company and subcontractor
Reviews and analyzes released engineering change data and coordinates changes with engineering, quality, support, manufacturing, and engineering data control activities
Support program configuration and data management requirements.

Basic Qualifications:
Must have a Bachelor's degree AND 12 years of related professional/military experience OR a Master's degree AND 10 year of related professional/military experience OR an PhD AND 8 year of related professional/military experience
Your ability to transfer and maintain the final adjudicated government Secret clearance (DoD must be in-scope or enrolled in Continuous Evaluation) and any program access(es) required for the position within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the Company
Preferred Qualifications:
Active TS/SCI security clearance
Knowledge of EIA-649 or MIL-HDBK-61B.
Demonstrate expert technical knowledge over CDM practice and SOW areas
Experience administering configuration and data management release cycles for drawings, models and configured documents and administer changes using Siemens Teamcenter, NX, ROSE Tool, Jira, SharePoint, Cameo, DOORS.

Experience leading Audit team and oversee training execution of existing and new requirements
Experience conducting Supplier Surveillance Reviews, Functional Configuration Audits & Physical Configuration Audits
Experience supporting CM Management in creation and maintenance of audit plan.
Experience overseeing the development and maintenance of audit schedule.
Experience supporting internal program CDM audits against program SOW & Functional Command Media mandates.
Experience examining engineering drawings and related documents for soundness, completeness and conformity to standards, and specifications.
Experience with coordinating/creating configured software builds for test and delivery
Experience with conducting software configuration audits
Familiarity with DoD program lifecycles. Including planning and navigation of major milestones/events, development of technical baselines, and configuration audits.
Experience or knowledge of maintaining a bill of material (BOM) between PLM and ERP systems.
Knowledge of product baselines and configuration status accounting.
Solid written and verbal skills to effectively interact with Government counterparts, other defense contractor organizations, and other cross-functional organizations.
Experience supporting internal program CDM audits against program SOW & Functional Command Media
Excellent organizational skills to include the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to interface with all levels of employees and management

Primary Level Salary Range: $122,100.00 - $183,100.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
