What You'll Get To Do:

Additionally:

Possess excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to interface with team members across multiple sites.

Support lab operations build-up / integration of hardware and software units, enforcement of lab operations processes, and support hardware / software testing activities.

Responsible for coordinating lab scheduling, development, and integration.

Familiarity with engineering drawings, network diagrams and schematics, and various test equipment is essential and required for this position.

Work effectively in a dynamic, people-focused environment where they will interact with users, customers, and other stakeholders.

Alert management to recurring challenges and patterns of challenges.

Support anomaly investigations / troubleshooting as well as implement best practices and demonstrates good hardware configuration management and tool accountability.

This position's standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree with eight (8) years of experience, or a Master's degree with six (6) years of experience, or a PhD with four (4) years of experience. An additional four (4) years of experience can be considered in lieu of a degree.

Must have an active U.S. Government DoD Top-Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with an ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business need

One (1) year of experience operating in an Agile environment using any of the Atlassian software tool sets (JIRA, Confluence)

Four (4) years of experience with HW or SW integration in a lab / test environment

Four (4) years of experience with Linux operating systems or networking

Four (4) years of experience with Cisco routers or switches

Knowledge of software/systems lifecycles

Ability to install software packages

Familiarity with COTS network management and configuration systems

Must hold one or more current CompTIA certifications for an IAT Level II (GSEC, Security+ or SSCP) or higher to satisfy DOD 8570-1M requirement

Preferred Qualifications:

Ability to troubleshoot system using built in OS functionality and system logs

Perform OS tuning, understand networking, perform user management, perform security hardening, and review OS logs as needed and perform system backups

Six (6) years of experience with scripting, particularly in shell scripting. Any experience with SH and CSH variants, Python, or PowerShell would be helpful

Six (6) years of experience with the administration and operations of lab or test environments

Six (6) years of experience with vSphere or VMware Cloud Foundation

Six (6) years of experience with operation, development, or testing of RTOSs

Computer system performance analysis

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Strong interpersonal skills

Pay Range:
Min: $113,500.00
Max: $170,300.00
Salary Range: $113,500.00 - $170,300.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
