Northrop Grumman Aeronautic Systems has an opening for a Sr. Principal Test Conductor to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals within the Test and Evaluation organization. This role is in Palmdale, CA.
Note: Due to the classified nature of the work being performed, this position does not offer any virtual or telecommute working options.
Key Responsibilities:

Contribute to the development of detailed test plans, test schedules, and test procedures and provide support for integration testing

Contribute to test card development and review in collaboration with other engineering disciplines, system test and engineering management

Ability to develop and execute software installation, integration, and acceptance test procedures

Coordinate test equipment and personnel requirements for safe and efficient execution of tests

Provide test support and make real-time decisions regarding safety, efficiency, and effectiveness.

Participate in post-test data evaluation and discrepancy resolution

Serve as the focal point between internal and external organizations to develop test data requirements

Excellent communication skills required, must work well in a team environment, and must work independently to solve a variety of complex problems

This position will require occasional overtime and cross-training efforts.
Basic Qualifications:

Active DoD Top Secret and SAP/SAR access

Candidate must have 12 years of related professional/military experience, OR Bachelor's degree AND 8 years of related professional / military experience, OR a Master's degree AND 6 years of related professional / military experience

Network design, analysis, and administration of routers, switches, and firewalls
Experience in software integration, software testing, Confluence and JIRA
Must have excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to interface with all levels of employees and management
Network+ certification and/or a Cisco CCNA or other similar certification
Experience in the use of network analysis tools, e.g., WireShark, SolarWinds, etc.
Security+ certified
Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT, Networking engineering, or equivalent

Experience in lab integration and test activities

Experience with formal software life cycle development methodologies

Experience with test equipment use and system troubleshooting
Salary Range: $124,900.00 - $187,300.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.The application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
