Position Overview:
The Command and Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC) program integrates the Missile Defense System. It is a crucial operational system that enables the U.S. president, secretary of defense, and combatant commanders at strategic, regional, and operational levels to systematically plan ballistic missile defense operations, observe the battle develop collectively, and dynamically manage designated networked sensors and weapons systems to achieve global and regional mission objectives.
C2BMC supports a layered missile defense capability that allows an optimized response to threats of all ranges in every phase of flight. C2BMC serves as a force multiplier both globally and regionally. Networks integrate and synchronize autonomous sensor and weapon systems and operations to enhance performance. C2BMC is essential to all system ground and flight tests, which verify and exercise all current and future missile defense system capabilities.
As a member of the Regional Applications Agile Release Train (RA ART) of the Missile Defense National Team for Command and Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC) (also known as C2BMC NT), this position will be responsible for collaborating across the ART to implement and maintain a standardized CI/CD pipeline for all Product Teams within the RA ART, across two development sites.
Essential Functions:

Must collaborate closely with the Cyber and Platforms ART to ensure that the tools and applications within the pipeline are maintained and meet security and other requirements
Must provide regular updates on the status of the pipeline and work to address any issues
Experience in classified environments implementing CI/CD pipelines to support various software releases and build versions
Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills, the ability to work independently, and the poise and flexibility required to thrive in a highly dynamic environment
Will collaborate with various disciplinary teams, especially Systems Admins, IT, and Security
Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline preferred from an accredited university and 8 years of related experience, or a Master's degree in a STEM discipline and 6 years of experience, or a PhD and 4 years of experience, or 12 years of related experience in lieu of a degree may be considered.
Applicants must possess a current, active in-scope DoD issued Secret security clearance at the time of application, which is required to start
DoD 8140 certification at IAT Level II or higher (Security+, CE, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, SSCP, CCNA Security, etc.) is required
Ability and willingness to travel up to 10% to meet business needs
The following technical skills are required:
Linux system administration
System Security Implementations
Experience with all or some of Git
Nexus
Jenkins
Jira
Confluence

Experience in CI/CD, particularly within a classified development environment
Experience in working with DEVSECOPS
Experience with:
Linux shell scripting
Ansible playbook development and management
Security-Enhanced (SE) Linux
Red Hat repository administration

Experience in an Agile development environment
Knowledge of any or all of the following:
Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG)
Multi-Factor Authentication implementation, like IPA and ADFS
OpenShift
OpenStack
VMware ESXI
QAS/VAS
Windows
Active Directory
Backup and Recovery
Containers and Container Orchestration products

Comprehend the concept of PaaS and SaaS
Understanding Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery, and their implementation in IT and IT products

* A master's degree in a related field, along with six years of relevant work experience, is highly desired
Salary Range: $124,900.00 - $187,300.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
