The location of this position is at Oklahoma City, OK. This position is a Maintenance Concept Improvement member of the B-2 ICS team that is responsible for the LRU/SRU repair operations programs in support of the B-2 Stealth Bomber This position requires a strong background in USAF technical, maintenance and logistics management processes, excellent communication skills, and strong interpersonal and organizational skills. The ideal candidate will be a team player but also a strong independent contributor, shall be proactive, shall present leadership skills, shall possess good analytical skills, shall demonstrate problem solving skills, and shall be detail oriented.

Responsibilities:

Reviews repair usage data associated with each applicable LRU. Validates consumption reports provided by the OEM including LRUs, SRUs, piece parts, and materials. Interprets logistics support data (MTBF, TAT, Lead-times, consumption)

Reviews material purchasing history to identify long lead-time parts or materials to determine if current sources of supply are valid and evaluates parts/source availability

Reviews sustaining engineering data for both planned and completed modifications

Develops final limited overhaul repair plan; determines percentage of LRU performance improvement and validates performance goal

Determines estimated performance improvement in on-wing time and develops forecast and availability for improvement parts and materials

Evaluates electronic and mechanical systems operation and maintenance systems concepts in order to make valid process recommendations

Provide integration and analysis support to the Depot Maintenance Activation Working Group (DMAWG) to ensure depot level transition disconnects are eliminated

Reviews supportability data and use it to assess source of repair analysis process (SORAP) decisions and related program requirements

Provide Depot Activation support to enable the seamless transition from Repair Operations to Organic Depot Repair

Prepares status reports and generate spreadsheets, Power Point slides that speak to MCI and make recommendations for long-term approaches to MTBF

Establish and maintain contact with suppliers to determine supplier furnished part concerns, recommendations, or issues

Basic Qualifications:

Must have a BS Degree with 9 years' experience or equivalent 14 years' of applicable aircraft maintenance or aerospace industry experience in lieu of a degree

Candidate must have working knowledge of military logistic support procedures, databases (FedLog/WebFlis, DOD, Emall, military drawings and specifications databases)

Candidate must have good working knowledge of shop-process, repair cycles or work-flow

Candidate must possess the ability to read and understand blueprints/drawings/technical orders

Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills and be proficient with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Must be a US Citizen with an active Secret Government Security Clearance and ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access

Preferred Qualifications:

Master's Degree

15 years' experience in aerospace industry, preferably with a background in backshop avionics or electrical and environmental electronics

Possess knowledge of B-2 maintenance/sustainment activity

Experience in using Team Center Enterprise, Engineering Logistics Management System (ELMA) and Engineering Source Data

Familiarity with ISO 9001, AS 9100, AS9102 Industry/Aerospace Standards

* Current/previous B-2 Security Clearance

Salary Range: $84,500.00 - $126,700.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.The application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
