This position, based at Schriever Space Force Base in Colorado Springs, CO, plays a vital role in supporting the U.S. President, the Secretary of Defense, and combatant commanders at strategic, regional, and operational levels.

This position does not offer relocation support and requires on-site work with no remote options.

Position Overview:

The Command and Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC) program is a vital component of the Missile Defense System. It provides a crucial operational platform that enables the U.S. president, the secretary of defense, and combatant commanders at strategic, regional, and tactical levels to systematically plan missile defense operations, monitor battle progress, and actively manage networked sensors and weapon systems to meet global and regional mission objectives. C2BMC offers a layered missile defense capability, delivering an optimized response to threats across all ranges and flight phases. It acts as a force multiplier by linking, integrating, and synchronizing autonomous sensor and weapon systems and operations both worldwide and locally to improve overall performance. Additionally, C2BMC plays a key role in all ground and flight tests that verify and demonstrate the missile defense system's current and future capabilities.
The System Test Team is responsible for planning and analyzing all ground and flight tests related to the C2BMC program.

Essential Functions:

Ground test types include:

- Pairwise tests
- Continuous Developmental Integration (CDI)
- Integrated Ground Test (GTI)
- Distributed Ground Test (GTD)
- Cyber Tests
- Space Domain Awareness (SDA)
- Pre-flight test HWIL efforts

Flight tests are performed with predetermined sensors and shooters

International events consist of various ground and flight tests

Basic Qualifications:

A Bachelor's Degree in a STEM field such as Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related discipline from an accredited university is preferred, along with 8 years of experience; or a Master's degree (preferred) in a STEM-related field with 6 years of relevant work experience; or a PhD in a related field with 4 years of relevant work experience.

- Sensor Resource Defense Manager Designs (SRM) Settings
- Operational Tasking Data Link (OPTASKLINK)
- Air Defense Systems Integrator (ADSI)
- System Configuration and Forwarding Tables, CDS, TDACS, TRAUT TDACS, Communications Connectivity Matrices, Event Configuration Baseline (ECB)

System Adjustable Parameter (SAPs)/Site Specific Parameter (SSPs)

Preferred Qualifications:

Master's Degree in Systems Engineering

Certification: INCOSE Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP) Certification

Certification: Object Management Group Certified Systems Modeling Professional - Model Builder Fundamental (OCSMP - MBF)

Self-starter with strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with government clients as well as internal and external personnel

Prior experience with the C2BMC program in any role is highly preferred

Primary Level Salary Range: $113,500.00 - $170,300.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
