Our employees are not only part of history, they're making history.Northrop Grumman Mission Systems has several openings for Sr. Principal Chief Engineers-Integrated Product Team (IPT) Leads that are ready to work across functions to help drive hardware movement in the factory/test, document issues, drive improvement plans, and support ramp up to meet throughput requirements. These positions are located in Linthicum, MD.
Roles & Responsibilities:

Lead an engineering team working to transition designs to production for a very important sector priority program with many time-critical elements and high management visibility.
Interface with Engineering & Program Management, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Mission Assurance.
Brief internal and potentially external customer leadership on progress.
Perform in a fast-paced work environment with high expectations, significantly diverse assignments, and collaborative/team settings.
The selected candidates are expected to be self-motivated, highly organized, and detail oriented and possess effective verbal and written communication skills.
Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in engineering or STEM-related discipline with 8 years of industry experience, or master's degree and 6 years industry experience (with a BS in STEM)
Active Secret clearance required to start. Must be able to maintain this level of clearance and obtain a SAP clearance for continued employment.
General Knowledge of RF hardware design and manufacturing
1-year minimum as an Integrated Product Team (IPT) Lead or equivalent where responsibilities included: project planning, cost & schedule management including tracking, team tasking / leadership, and status reporting.
1-year minimum working experience with knowledge of Global Supply Chain and Manufacturing Material Processing
