Northrop Grumman's Chief Information & Digital Office (CIDO) is seeking a Level 2 (novice to mid-career) Software Development Analyst to support the Mixed Signal and RF electrical design and analysis tools (Cadence, Keysight, and Ansys) for multiple Northrop Grumman sector organizations (Space Systems, Aeronautics Systems, and Defense Systems).
General speaking, the Software Analyst will research, design, develop, and/or modify enterprise-wide systems and/or applications software; Be involved in planning of system and development deployment, as well as responsible for meeting software compliance standards; Will evaluate interface between hardware and software, operational requirements, and characteristics of overall system; And documents testing and maintenance of system corrections.
Specific to this position, the selected candidate will deploy, support, customize, and maintain the suite of commercial applications used by the Electrical Engineering departments of the various sectors of Northrop Grumman. This will include Cadence, Keysight, and Ansys tool suites, as well as RF/Antenna tools (among others). The candidate must be able to read and be familiar with electrical engineering schematics, perform circuit analysis, and troubleshoot integrated circuit Process Design Kits (PDKs).
Role and Responsibilities:

Maintain and support engineering applications from Cadence, Ansys, Keysight
Maintain and support the major vendors software licenses and renewals
Administration of Cadence PDK, license daemon, and software store tool package
End-user technical support of Mixed Signal/RF applications, including, in support of development and production environments
Perform root case analysis, debugging problems within the environment, and working with the appropriate technical teams to develop, test, and implement fixes to prevent recurrence
Monitor, address, and resolve production environment incidents, service requests, workflows, client install packages, etc., collaboratively with other support teams
Document all aspects of the system in KB articles to share with supporting team members and users
Maintain and support virtual license servers in Linux and Windows using FLEXLM and Altera License monitoring agents

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics) related discipline with a minimum of 2 years of software analysis, electrical engineering, and/or applications analysis experience; OR a Master's degree in a STEM related discipline with 3 months of software analysis, electrical engineering, and/or applications analysis experience is required
Must have experience with Cadence, Keysight, and Ansys tools
Must be familiar with electrical engineering schematics
Experience with software licenses and renewals
Candidates must have the ability to obtain a DoD Secret level security clearance as a condition of continued employment in this role
Preferred Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in either Electrical Engineering or in Computer Science, and 3 years of experience in support of Mixed Signal/RF applications, including Cadence, Keysight, and Ansys tools
Fluency in at least one computer programming language would be nice to have
Ability to apply engineering techniques and analytical methods to make recommendations for improvements and provide information and assistance to end-users
Must work well with others in a professional setting regardless of skillsets
Ability to understand and work with multiple enterprise-wide systems and software problem tracking tools
Must work well independently without constant supervision
Active Secret level security clearance is highly desirable

Salary Range: $89,400.00 - $134,200.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.The application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
