Northrop Grumman's corporate office is seeking a Sr. Principal Software Application Administrator/Analyst to support several advanced classified programs on the Melbourne, FL campus. The position will deploy, configure, and maintain a suite of Commercial and Open-Source applications.
Please note that this opportunity is contingent on contract funding. Start dates are determined after funding confirmation.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

Configure, deploy and administer commercial and open source software
Maintain strong expertise and knowledge of current and emerging technologies and products.
Provide best practice, recommendations and guidance to manage SSLM operations at scale
Ability to implement a configuration management solution
Scripting for DevOps processes
Server Configuration
Container deployment
Researches, designs, develops, and/or modifies enterprise-wide systems and/or application software
Coordinates activities with Product Owner(s)
Participates in Agile development activities, in keeping with SAFe
Evaluates system interfaces and operational requirements.
Documents testing and maintenance of system corrections.

Basic Qualifications:

9 Years of experience with bachelor's degree; 7 Years with Masters; 4 Years with PhD or 4 additional years in lieu of a degree.
5 or more years of experience scripting (PowerShell preferred)
Excellent troubleshooting skills
Experience designing and/or developing collaboration solutions
Experience designing and/or developing business process automation solutions
Experience with software configuration management
Experience working within an Agile development team
Experience tracking tasking via Jira and/or Agile development management platform
Excellent organization and communication skills
MCM/MECM/SCCM Experience
Experience deploying applications on Windows and UNIX/Linux operating systems
IIS/Apache application administration experience
Active DoD Secret clearance with a reinvestigation date occurring in the last 5 years.
Must be US Citizenship and ability to obtain Special Program Access (SAP)
Ability to obtain IAT Level II or above approved certification.
Preferred Qualifications:

Active Top Secret security clearance with adjudication in the last 6 years
Related IT experience in DoD restricted area
Excellent upward communication skills and experience engaging with executive level leadership
1-3 years of leadership experience
Experience leading cross-functional projects
Exposure to web-based software development or operations
Exposure to Cloud technologies
Experience administering the Atlassian Suite
Experience administering big data solution products
Experience providing architectural feedback to application developers to enable streamlined deployment on closed networks
Experience developing data governance policies and procedures
Experience with Postgres and MS SQL Server desired
Salary Range: $118,600.00 - $178,000.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.The application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
