This role is responsible for developing and executing the operational tempo for an established, highly critical Business Unit with a portfolio of domestic programs essential to national security. As a member of the MARSYS leadership team, this individual will play a critical role in crafting and delivering the vision of MARSYS.

What You'll Get to Do:
The primary duties of this role will be the following:
Reports directly to the Site Director/Chief of Staff in providing support to the MARSYS VP by preparing/coordinating internal and external presentations, rough drafts/correspondence and other BU communications. Maintain the overall MARSYS schedule and set BU operations tempo. Handles various other recurring and ad hoc administrative tasks.
Assist in providing executive leadership support to multiple Operating Units, facilitate business reviews and integrate day-to-day operational objectives to meet the BU's financial, non-financial and growth goals as well as help facilitate site business operations.
In conjunction with the BU staff, lead the development, prioritization, and management of the BU's capital program. Ensure the BU stays within allocated budget.
Lead the BU's affordability efforts. Work with each operating unit and business unit support functions to identify, prioritize, implement, and drive to completion projects to increase affordability of the business unit's programs and operations.
Support development and allocation of the BU's NCTA budget. Assist in the execution of the approved projects to ensure spending is appropriate and that the BU remains at or under allocated budgets.
Support the development and management of indirect budgets. Assist business management personnel in the management of the indirect budgets to ensure spending is appropriate and that the BU remains at or under allocated budgets. Provide lower level visibility of overhead spending.
Develop strategic approach for ensuring capital, facilities, and divisional/functional support staff align with AOP/LRSP execution.
Coordinate the BU's facility, security, digital, and communications needs while coordinating with division and sector organizations to ensure the BU has facility resources required to meet objectives.
Lead various employee initiatives for the BU. Support other employee initiatives in the division and sector.
Identify BU focus areas for improvement/streamlining, development and execution of operational initiatives, monitoring of operational goals and sector-specific objectives, elimination of non-value-added activities at all levels in the organization, with a focus on enhancing collaboration.
Be the focal point for communication and collaboration for the business unit/functional operations functions. Facilitate engagement and reviews with operations counterparts at division.
Be responsible for a broad range of BU operations including leading and managing monthly BU staff meeting, weekly/monthly/quarterly reviews, the monthly management report, and other meetings/reviews.
Establishes agenda and coordinates preparation for leadership team meetings, events, and other key division meetings.
Leads and manages Business Unit Reviews.
Prepares standard reports, coordinates the development, review and monthly reporting of key measurables and non-financial metrics.
Provide leadership and support on various division and site initiatives, as assigned.
There will be up to 10% travel for this position.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree with 5 years of relevant work experience or a Master's Degree with 3 years of relevant work experience
Demonstrated ability collaborating with multiple stakeholders across various functions (i.e. human resources, financial management, strategic planning, subcontractor management, contracts administration, project planning & execution, recruiting, and business development).
Experience facilitating meetings.
Prior experience interacting with executive leadership.
Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills, as well as project management, analytical, planning, and presentation skills are required.
Experience in risk identification and risk management principles.
Demonstrated strong leadership and teamwork skills.
Proficiency in various Microsoft tools.
US Citizenship.
Ability to obtain a DoD Secret Security Clearance after starting.
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong NG understanding and proven experience effectively working within and through NG (and/or a similar) corporate culture.
Experience with the Defense Community customers.
Demonstrated ability to understand detailed program financial performance; strong problem solving and analytical skills; ability to make recommendations and provide guidance to effectively bring projects to completion.

Salary Range: $107,300.00 - $160,900.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
