Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Systems Engineer (T02 level) / Principal Systems Engineer (T03 level) in support of the Sentinel weapon system program. This highly visible individual contributor role will be in Roy, UT and will support the Air Force's development, production and deployment of the Sentinel Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) ground and airborne launch control systems, launch facilities, launch control centers, and associated infrastructure.

In this role, you will lead interface product development and integration efforts for Sentinel WS. As an interface team member you will participate in conducting weapon system interface CAD modeling, design integration and metric reporting. The primary nature of this role is in support of the Sentinel EMD program milestones.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Develop Interface Control Models (ICMs) in support of external and segment-to-segment interface definition of Sentinel weapon system
Support development of Sentinel WS interface architecture and requirements allocation from a Weapon System Specification down to the lowest level CI
Perform interface trade studies in support of Major Program Events (MPE)
Work with the internal and external Sentinel stakeholders to release interface products at technical review boards
Basic Qualifications: *
This requisition may be filled at either the Systems Engineer level (T-02) or Principal Systems Engineer level (T-03).
Systems Engineer:
Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university and 2 years of experience, 0 years of experience with a Master's degree
Principal Systems Engineer:
Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics) discipline and 5 years of related experience; 3 years experience with a Master of Science degree; 1 year experience with a PhD
Required for Both Levels:
Must be a US Citizen with an Active DoD Secret Clearance with an investigation date within the last 6 years
Must be able to be successfully screened for Enhanced Security Clearances, within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the company to meet its business needs
Working knowledge of systems engineering principles and processes
1+ years of experience with CAD modeling software such as Siemens NX, Solid Edge, Pro/E, or Solid Works
Ability to collaborate and contribute to technical discussions with fellow team members, cross-organizational teams, and management
Preferred Qualifications:
1+ years of experience working with Systems Engineering and Integration and Test (SEIT) processes on the Sentinel Program
1+ years of experience working with MBSE tools (Cameo)
1+ year of experience with Agile methodologies and tools (JIRA/Confluence)
1+ years of experience supporting trades studies
1+ years of experience managing requirements in DOORS

This position's standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

Salary Range: $77,200.00 - $115,800.00Salary Range 2: $95,300.00 - $142,900.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
