What You'll Get To Do:
Specific duties to include, but are not limited to the following:
Assisting leadership with managing defense contracts, working new business proposals, and performing contract closeouts.
Working closely with program office staff and other disciplines to accomplish program and company goals.
Interpreting and applying Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFAR) Supplement, and other federal agency regulations.
Working with various Government and prime contractor customers.
Working with various Government agencies including the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) and the Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA).
Managing internal and external audits relating to contract matters.
Proposal preparation, negotiation, certification, and compliance with Truthful Cost or Pricing Data.
Resolving a wide range of issues demonstrating good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
Leading project teams to achieve milestones and objectives
Understanding assigned contract scope, terms, and industry regulations to identify and manage changes to the contract baseline.
Working on complex problems with diverse scope where analysis of data requires thoughtful evaluation and resolution.
Communicating at the highest levels on highly significant contractual/program matters.
Viewed as subject matter expert in field within the corporation.

This positions standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.
Job Qualifications
You'll Bring These Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree with 12 years in Contract Administration or related professional experience - OR - a Master's degree with 10 years of related professional experience - OR - a PhD with 8 years of related professional experience. 16 years of related experience may be accepted in lieu of degree.
Must be a US Citizen with an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application with an investigation completed within the last 6 years.
Knowledge and understanding of pricing principles and FAR/DFARS as well as associated Federal Contracting regulations.
7 or more years' experience with proposal strategy, contract formation and customer relationships.
Strong organizational, verbal and written communication skills.
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Extensive experience in construction contracting, particularly in US Government contracts for construction, architect-engineer, including Department of Defense (DoD) military construction (MILCON) contracting
Experience in performing contract administration on Department of Defense Major Defense Acquisition Programs (MDAP), particularly in the Engineering and Manufacturing Development and Production phases
Extensive proposal and negotiation experience
Extensive experience with and knowledge of U.S. Government acquisition regulations including the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS)
Knowledge of Department of the Air Force Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DAFFARS)
Certification(s) in contracting, e.g., Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) Federal Acquisition Certification in Contracting - Professional (FAC-C), and/or National Contract Management Association (NCMA) such as Certified Professional Contract Manager (CPCM), and/or ECTAC Certification (Northorp Grumman Enterprise Contracts Training & Certification)
Familiarity with Northrop Grumman contracts processes and procedures
Active DoD Top-Secret security clearance
Master's degree, law degree or paralegal experience
Strong technology acumen in M365
Salary Range: $122,100.00 - $183,100.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
