This position will be located in Roy, UT and will support the Sentinel (GBSD) program. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.

What You'll Get To Do:
Functional Homeroom Duties:
• Provide people leadership for a Systems Engineering organization, to include performance management (including performance reviews), career development, staffing, and merit planning as part of the Strategic Deterrent Systems business unit Functional Homeroom
• Support employee development; employee inclusion, engagement, mentoring and career development; employee training and identification and training of skills required to execute programs
• Provide ownership of and direction of processes used in the functional group
• Support staffing and workload forecast; Recruiting, sourcing, onboarding, and performance management
MEDI Assignment Duties:
• Provide proposal inputs and review proposal content for both internal and external customers
• Interface with other IPTs to develop interface requirements and ConOps
• Interface with USAF customer
• Provide project and technical direction for the combined discipline MEDI team, including:
- Development of Interface description and control documentation
- Oversight of subcontractors to ensure integration with interfacing components and teams
- Dynamic and static structural analysis oversight of subcontractors
- Electrical interface assessment
- Review contractor SDRLs. Create CDRL content from contractor SDRLs when needed
- Interface with Subcontract Management Team (SMT) to ensure subs are producing a robust design that meets all requirements

This position's standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
You'll Bring These Qualifications:
• Bachelor of Science in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) with 6 years of related experience
• Must have an active U.S. Government DoD Top Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with an ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business need
• Minimum 1 year experience leading project or driving performance against schedule
• Minimum 1 year experience using CPLM for document releases

These Qualifications Would Be Nice To Have:
• Knowledge of mechanical/electrical design principles
• Knowledge of requirements derivation processes
• Excellent communication and organizational skills; strong interpersonal and analytic skills
• 3 years of experience with ICBM Weapon System
• 3 years of experience in Systems Engineering and Testing
• Experience using Siemens NX CAD Tool
• Experience performing structural analysis
• Experience using Mentor Graphics
• Experience using Mentor Capital
• Experience with Cameo
• Experience with DOORs
• Experience with "clean-sheet" new design
Salary Range: $135,100.00 - $202,700.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.The application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
