Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking to hire a Manager of Supply Chain Programs 1 to join its team of diverse and qualified individuals. This position will be located in Roy, UT and will support the Sentinel (GBSD) program in the Strategic Deterrent Systems (SDS) division. Northrop Grumman supports the Air Force's sustainment, development, production and deployment of hardware and system modifications for Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) Ground and Airborne Launch Control Systems, Launch Facilities and associated infrastructure. This person will report directly to the Global Supply Chain (GSC) Planning Manager. This person will manage a team of up to 4 planners in performing the day-to-day execution of the GSC Demand Planning role for the program. This manager will help lead the planning teams to achieve execution of program material requirements throughout the procurement lifecycle from initial inception to delivery.

Roles and Responsibilities
Helps define and review processes where gaps or improvements may be needed by coordinating cross functionally both within and outside of GSC
Tracks performance of responsible planning teams' forecasts to meet program and company financial goals
Responsible for activities and knowledge within multiple disciplines across the procurement/product life cycle
Leads planning team in execution of material requirements and is responsible for resource planning, schedule performance, and supply chain issue resolution
Basic Qualifications
Requires US Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government DoD security clearance (Secret, Top Secret; etc.) within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business need
Requires a bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field with 5 years of related experience; 3 years with a master's degree; or 9 years of related experience may be accepted with a HS Diploma (or equivalent) in lieu of a degree
Experience with supply chain management software and ERP systems, (SAP experience is a plus)
Experience managing projects within the supply chain or logistics sector.
Experience with Material Requirements Planning (MRP)/ Enterprise Resource Planning Systems
Experience with SAP and MES business systems
Ability to perform desk work and production shop floor responsibilities with the ability to lift, push, pull up to 30 pounds
Preferred Qualifications
Active DoD Secret Security Clearance
Ablity to effectively drive GSC execution across multiple organizations with differing priorities
Understanding of specifications, drawings & supplier statements of work (SOWs)
Knowledge of GSC processes including planning, MRP, procurement, goods receipt, etc.
Experience in supporting government proposal efforts including bills of material and labor bases of estimates
Excellent communication skills and the ability to develop successful internal and external relationships
Proficiency in the use of SAP
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
Ability to deal effectively with competing priorities and deadlines, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while demonstrating a professional attitude

This position's standard work schedule is 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.

Primary Level Salary Range: $101,900.00 - $152,900.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
