What you'll get to do:
The selected candidate will manage a team of professional subcontract administrators and a multi-million dollar major subcontract supporting the program.
The individual in this role will be very familiar with any and all efforts supporting ongoing compliance with supply chain related public law, FAR, DFARS and other federal agency acquisition regulations in addition to company Policies & Procedures governing the Global Supply Chain Process at SDS.
Specific duties will include:
Partners with critical Program Leadership to execute Subcontracts and drive results with a high degree of accountability and ownership.
Provides leadership, training, and guidance to cross functional teams.
Facilitates end-to-end subcontract management by supporting subcontract specification development, work statements, and terms and conditions for the procurement of specialized materials, equipment, and/or services.
Prepares request for proposals, conducts bidders conferences, analyzes and evaluates proposals, negotiates subcontract provisions, selects or recommends subcontractors, writes awards, and administers resulting subcontracts.
Negotiates and coordinates additions, deletions, or modifications to subcontracts.
Partners closely with Business Management and the Program team to develop and implement strategies.
Reviews and provides feedback on customer RFIs, draft RFPs, and RFPs.
Guides the program on the implications of model contract terms and conditions.
Facilitates the proposal review process and ensures internal reviews are conducted in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Partners with the Program team to create briefings for internal reviews.

This position's standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
You'll Bring These Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university and 6 years of experience in Supply Chain, Master's degree from an accredited university with 4 years of experience in Supply Chain, an additional 4 years of related experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
Must have U.S. Citizenship with an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with an ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business need
A minimum of 1 year experience leading a project and/or driving performance against schedule.
Prior experience with DOD contracts or subcontracts and a variety of contract types including Cost Reimbursement, Fixed Price, etc.
Demonstrated understanding of and experience with the FAR and DFARS.
Must have experience conducting presentations to executive leadership.
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Prior experience as a contracts/subcontracts manager leading a team of contracts/subcontracts professionals.
Prior experience managing multiple contracts/subcontracts simultaneously requiring extensive organizational skills.
Experience working restricted programs.
Excellent written and oral communication skills, presentation skills and computer skills.

Salary Range: $122,800.00 - $203,600.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
